stevebrum
well just looking at the forecast. rain all day in poole so this wont go ahead, as poole dont have any covers? thats right isnt it? There can be no excuse if they weren't used. because for some bizarre reason you have an agenda agaianst me and brum Put it on ignore, it has nothing of relevance to add other than insults. another 3 hours of elite league dross .. thank god i dont pay for it.. But of course the PL and NL every meeting is passing in every race. NOT. Just seen pic of first bend, it's literally under water. god help the riders if they have to ride on it. Hopefully they will stick together and refuse if it's too dangerous WHY NO TRACK COVERS??????????????????? Restaging date Wed 15th! WTF?? So just disregard that the Final is already on both Monday and THAT night????? come on then Poole Quay have a pop at this guy as he quite clearly is trolling. No? Oh so its just me and Brum who are trolls then! Pole Quay & knows all about trolls. He and 2 or 3 others are the worst offenders. It will have nothing but attacking posts which as you know are against forum rules.
markyb
Yet again speedway bends over backwards to Poole speedway Ok, unfortunate that tonight's meeting does not go on - so is a precedent set that if the team can't go ahead, they have another chance. could end up the the semi final is raced Christmas Day and the final on New Year's Day. The sport is being run by absolute arseholes who bow to whoever pays the right money to keep them sweet. Absolute joke. So impressed with the guys at Belle Vue (an absolute credit to the sport) in what they trying to achieve tell you what - Poole pirates to win the 2014 speedway league - but only through deceit and cheating. This is supposed to be a summer sport and we go through a month of July where bugger all happens because of a World Cup. Britiish speedway "bosses" hope you happy ! Cant believe sky sports have been hoodwinked to the rubbish the "authorities' provide. (Not so ) Happy days At the end of the day, who cares - sad as it sound I DO ! alfiemorris
Sorry, what's going on, or not, at Poole then? Just came in to watch Sky2 and its another re-run. An old one! Typical Sky, don't let you know, why don't they run a notice along bottom of screen?

salty
I'm sure the BEL promoters would race during the World Cup if they could? Why can 't they? Surely can't be because of all the guests that would be required as that is the case throughout the season anyway.

lucifer sam
Lucifer Sam- Yes the final was scheduled in for next Wed but if the Poole vs Kings Lynn meeting is done as well it's another 22k to add to the bill which could again fall victim to the weather so best just to do a mini broadcast which should cost only around £1000-1500 depending whether we show in full or just clips on Sky sports HQ. We have been lucky today with an before broadcast call off have managed to reduce some crewing costs and uplink costs. Would many fans watch the meeting if available via Sky sports website with no commentary, interviews or replays ? If next week does not happen I can see the final being one off meeting at neutral track maybe KL or Leicester a week on Sat Thanks for the explanation - it's revealing to see how much a rain off costs Sky. I think the more dedicated fans would watch the races on the Sky Sports website, although obviously not in the same numbers. All the best Rob

The track was absolutely sodden Monday night, the hole, what hole there was, was filled.but you can do bugger all with the track while its in that state. Red Panda
why didnt they repair the hole on monday mate??... Did they try?? Read the thread it has been repaired............ And for those of you who do not believe the amount of rain in Poole..........I was in the town from about 12 onwards...........at about 2 ish there was a torrential downpour which put paid to the meeting............the rain was blowing in sheets up the high street.............Poole did not ask for it to rain nor could it be avoided..........when are the Poole haters going to shut the f**k up and live with it...........some people really need to look at their own teams inadequacies before criticising others............. Pirate Nick
so its been wet from Monday night with constant rain till now?? It's been damp and the track has had no time to dry. I believe Gerald Richter has been doing our track and imparting his knowledge to Neil Golding this year, so I have no doubt our track is in Good hands. Accidents happen for which you should be grateful as it gives you the opportunity to spout off your ill informed crap. Lots of love Nick
stevebrum
You cant repair holes with covers on The repair was the priority, then the covers. The repair work should have taken place Tuesday morning. pretty much. And even in the interludes we had very little sun and no drying wind. But in your prefect world Brum, anythings posible.. Of course, but in the starry world any excuse is better than none. Swindon could get a meeting on and now twice in one week Poole haven't been able to. Shocking and disgraceful. Your perfect world must be a lonely place. Read the thread it has been repaired............ And for those of you who do not believe the amount of rain in Poole..........I was in the town from about 12 onwards...........at about 2 ish there was a torrential downpour which put paid to the meeting............the rain was blowing in sheets up the high street.............Poole did not ask for it to rain nor could it be avoided..........when are the Poole haters going to shut the f**k up and live with it...........some people really need to look at their own teams inadequacies before criticising others............. stevebrum
I wouldn't bother RP. When brains were dished out many on here got missed. When brains were dished out they certainly missed a few down Dorset. Certainly spelling ones eh Starry. Just so you understand the point i will put it in you're language - when brains WAS dished out .................. Lots of love Nick PMFSL. If it had been Swindon or Coventry Poole fans would be mouthing off about poor track prep. However in the Poole world there is always a valid reason. Or like you say, a crap one.
