Star Lady
Just seen pic of first bend, it's literally under water. god help the riders if they have to ride on it. Hopefully they will stick together and refuse if it's too dangerous
Star Lady
Here's an idea. run it at Buxton on Sunday. neutral track, Poole can't object to that.
noggin
Yea the BSPA are bound to go against Matt Ford Swindon lost a ko cup tie on the toss of a coin, so not beyond the realms of fantasy that Frauds two faced coin is being polished as we speak lol

AFCB Wildcat
Â My point is why would Poole want to try and cover it? they really are not bothered a bout running the meeting if as we are led to believe that they would go through as the higher placed team if its off and cannot be rearranged for a second time. Â I'm sure they would want the revenue from this lucrative fixture and equally Sky would want this meeting to go ahead as there isn't another meeting yo show tonight so they will have invested in this one and will use any influence they have to make sure it's on.It's pouring down now and it's been monsoon conditions this afternoon so I will be surprised if it goes ahead! Woz01
Porsing has said track staff have been told by Sky to carry on working on the track. Met office does have the forecast as dry from 5pm. Edited October 9, 2014 by woz01

weatherwatcher
The time comes for all our major speedway meetings to be run at one venue that has the option of a retractable roof cover. All the play offs and team GB and GP's to be run there with no home track advantages and no disruption from the weather. If all the members of the BSPA associtation and a grant from the sporting council, I am sure that this could be easily achived. All the EL, PL and NL league playoffs could be run there and it would also give a chance for any rained off EL meetings to be run there. Why are we so behind the times. Even the Swedes can manage to run ice speedway indoors.

moxey63
Well if the weather is bad then there won't be a meeting to talk about . Â Â Honestly? And here's me, begging her indoors to let me come shopping with her.... Â Â Rain Rain, tipple down... pull a lad-y-----'s---------... Â I better not. That'll be termed sexist in this day and age. SCB
What day is left now? Sunday. You can't possibly run it any of the next 2 days as Lynn will have a rider missing. Â edit > scrub that, dogs entry at 5. Unless they can run at midday? Edited October 9, 2014 by SCB
SCB
Forecast is for more rain every day than there has been today. Next good day is Tuesday.
TheReturn
A lot of ridiculous and immature postings on this thread at the moment. Â I haven't seen this many trolls since I watched the Labyrinth with David Bowie. Â That's an easy comment to make, but perhaps you can highlight examples of what you consider ridiculous and immature. I might agree with you, but unless you highlight you are simply making a troll type comment yourself.
