Posf2 Poole V Kings Lynn

Recommended Posts

Poole should win this at an absolute canter. Rider match ups they are mile ahead.

Batchelor v Bjerre. - Batchelor

Magic v Harris - Magic

Kennett v Lambert - Kennett

Milik v Porsing - Milik

Pawlicki v Schlein - Pawlicki

Newman v Garrity - Newman

Compton v Lambert - Lambert

I make that 6 out of 7 riders are stronger for Poole. If anybody reckons the match ups will be the other way round score wise then i would like to hear it.

Im praying for a miracle because nothing would be better than to see Fords and Middlos faces if they get beat at home here.

My heart is dying to see Lynn win but the head says Poole by 20.

Lets just pray for the good of the sport if they do win that Coventry beat them in the final.

Batchelor may edge Bjerre but he isn't a mile ahead if monday is anything to go by.

Kennett may edge Lambert but if Lambert gates he is very difficult to pass.

Janowski may not be fully fit and Harris flies at Wimborne Road so close to call.

Milik is in form, got a max in his Czech meeting monday so should be Porsing and has no problem passing.

Pawlicki has been off form and Schlein goes well at Poole, so Schlein for me.

Newman is also carrying a injury and Garrity has beaten him before at Poole so too close to call.

Lambert against Compton is a no contest so if Newman doesn't win the reserves races, heat advantages to KL.

We should win but i think it's going to be a nail biter.

They'll put a bit of brown paper and some sticky tape over it, like they do with the holes in the rulebook.

They arn't very well hidden as Matt Ford usually finds them fairly easily!!

I am praying that you leave this forum for good. Another muppet post from you.

King's average does fit, admittedly Kennett did well when he last raced for us but in poor conditions i would favour King myself.

My mistake, I was looking at King's average for Birmingham which strangely enough isn't the same as for Lakeside. Its not like the BSPA to make a mistake is it?

As alot of people are accusing poole of fixing it so it would be called off, perhaps its possible kings lynn determined for their home meeting to go ahead as beating us over two legs was their only chance of making the final whereas as league winners we would go through if it was washed out.

Seriously?

I can understand Harris accepting a guest booking, he is trying to earn a living. But should he have a crap night he is opening himself up to accusations of dropping points for one of Coventry's potential final rivals. Strange situation.

What other sport would allow someone to be in 2 different teams in the semi-finals?! You would think that Poole and Kings Lynn would have to use the same teams they declared for Monday.

BELIEVE the stadium is booked.

Might just as well toss a coin ... cannot be even more farcical than having two riders from one team already in the final racing for another trying to get there.

Why not run it at a neutral venue. At least that way it's decided on track.

It's unfair to both riders and fans for it to be decided off track.

It's not Lynn's fault, there was a hole in the track. That sadly is entirely down to Poole.

According to all report the track on Monday was rideable if not raceable, it was purely the hole that caused the call off.

The whole of the play-offs have been a bit of a farce this season, with injuries, no re stage date etc, at least let's not have a coin toss decide the finalists.

good question, answered many times over the years I would guess. I can't think of any other sport that allows players/riders to play/ride for different teams

The time is 2-15 And the last couple of hours has produced some very heavy rain showers in Poole.

If as a few are saying that Poole could not use the same guests on Wednesday if we qualified for the final. How can KL use their guests today if they (the guests) .could possibly be riding at Poole next Wednesday. Surely the eight day rule would still apply.

I am now two miles from the track and the rain is torrential, now 2-25
