Posf2 Poole V Kings Lynn

Recommended Posts

Are these covers the ones owned by the speedway association?? And Swindon, because of good connections, had them?? I don't get that if it is true. And swindon didn't cover the straights!!

The simple truth is the track should have been covered so as to give Poole, and especially Lynn fans, the maximum possible chance of seeing a meeting. Until there's an explanation as to why it wasn't then all theories are in play.

Janowski has 9 stitches and was going to ride tonight. I don't see the relevance in your post with riding in the EL or the GP?

History tells us that our European friends have a record as long as the funky gibbons arms when it comes to On - Off illness and injury. IMO he will ride for the Guesthouse select Pirates on Thursday unless PZM say NO.

Why did Swindon cover the track and do everything possible to get the meeting on, whereas Poole left the track uncovered and did everything possible to get the meeting off?

Do any team stand to benefit from getting the meeting put back to a later date?

Most your posts I have read would make me believe you are trying to troll the Poole fans.

However this post if true, would be an excellent question? And could do with an answer if the case maybe.

Nobody has mentioned the hole. Will it be rectified by Thursday? if so why has it been like this all year. When we went there back in May for the first league match, the result that night rested on heat 15, Darcy made the gate but hit the hole and very nearly lost it. both Niels and Rory went by for a match winning 5-1.

Surely a club of POOLE's stature wouldn't leave their track in this state. or would they. Just shows what a tin pot club they really are. A Total disgrace......

Swindon got their meeting on but it was a gate and go bore fest with zero actual racing and such a shame for the home crowd - how many will return. Shame because it's meant to be the pinnacle of the season.

Or in Swindon's case - don't gate and go

Oh yes.............. suddenly much more choice of guests now!!! (I guess that Poo will now line up with at least one Swindon heat leader ............... and if Janowski's arm "suddenly" becomes more painful, probably more than one!)

Now just how much did it cost Ford to hire a JCB to do the track "prep"!

For those who don't live in the area there was heavy rain til lunch time which became light and then drizzled til about 2pm.........this was from I would imagine the early hours of the morning (I woke up at 6) and then there were further downpoours later in the day............they tried to get the meeting on.........and it is not a hole its a rut............

Personally I think they made the right call calling it off..........the only thing is it should have been done earlier in the day..........

I cannot believe that people think that people think that Poole did this deliberately.............because believe me that is the biggest load of c**p I have ever heard.............

Re staging Thursday apparently

Any other major sporting events on that night ?

I believe it's the grand final of the Dorset bog snorkeling championships.

Can Poole change guests for Thursdays meeting?

Kildemand rather than Cook?

What the rider you don't rate one iota, lol

Maybe they would put on a good show like they did tonight, and make you really happy
