Posf2 Poole V Kings Lynn

Recommended Posts

With the rain we've had since last night I'm only surprised it wasn't called off earlier. The first bends at Poole have had a hole for some time - just a shame they couldn't sort it out! How difficult is it to fill and pack a hole though - serious question ?

all organised by the evil matt ford!! or not - but sure you poole haters will be saying this and more

Poole always the victims, it's never their fault.

If it had been Wolves, Eastie or anyone else the criticism would have been merited, Poole are not exempted.

Why was the track not covered? Once we have that answer then all will become clearer.

the track wasnt covered because they knew there would be a bit of rain enough for it to be called off. so they can have milik back for the rearranged meet.. its easy to see

Some people seem to think Poole control the weather. Wonder if they were in Dorset to see the weather we have had.

Seems they don't control the track covers either. It has pissed down in places other than Dorset but some seem to be able to handle it, or want to.

I'm not suprised it's succombed to the weather.

But how the hell can a professional sports team such as the STATURE of the mighty pirates, have a track with a ruddy great hole in it? That isn't cause by rain, they should be embarrassed it's there, the fact they couldn't sort it today, and if it previously existed then why hasn't it been sorted?

Pull the other one Rodney.

Perhaps some people should listen to Rory.

What he said has nothing to do with the fact there were no covers on the track or that a ten minute downpour has created a hole in the track.

The whole thing stinks especially after Kings Lynn's efforts to get last weeks meeting on.

Another reason why we need to ditch the play-off's to decide the league title, we simply do not have the climate conducive to end of season play-off's requiring four weeks of perfect Monday's in Sept/Oct. No chance.

Why did I join this forum?

A team cancel due to rain and safety which is understandable when there is a crater in the track and people come and bad mouth the promotion?

Surely the riders know when it is safe and not these crazy opinions.

In disbelief.
