TheReturn
So as we're being pedantic, what is the difference then? Â Â The main difference if one was to ask myself, would be that with one he is a guilty prat, with the other they're investigating if he is a guilty prat or just a prat. Barrycuda
Looks like this meeting will have to be completed sometime this week Grand Final both legs next week Monday 13th October and Wednesday 15th October
PHILIPRISING
Â But the play-offs are not there for Sky. They are there because the promoters want them! TheReturn
LIKE them or not the play-offs are a valuable revenue stream  So we run the sport for revenue streams now?  I am not a fan, it devalues the entire league season in some respects, and most important if the final is run with teams of guest riders it makes it a joke. The winning team won't win, a team of guest reserves win.
g13webb
LIKE them or not the play-offs are a valuable revenue stream To whom ? Â Last weeks meeting at Lynn, the attendance was nothing out of the ordinary. My argument is why do we have to wager the LEAGUE TITLE into the Play-offs Surely a Play-Off Champions would be sufficient in it own right . I can't imagine the attendance being any difference last Monday on whatever the meeting was called.

League winners and cup winners both have value without undervaluing the entire league season.

bigcatdiary
LIKE them or not the play-offs are a valuable revenue stream They certainly were a few years ago I am not so sure they are such big earners now, I am sure I read somewhere that Swindon's final last year wasn't their biggest gate of the season. Steve0
Good luck to both teams - hope it's a close affair. Â I still think Poole will do it but guests can be unpredictable (on both sides) so anything can still happen. Â I don't really mind who wins this one though.
