Why is this meeting taking place on Wed? And not Monday? At least then that gives Tues and Wed as possible re-staging dates?

Tuesdays Dogs.

The Stadium/Greyhounds manager said the stadium was not available this Monday!! which is another reason why the first leg of a Coventry/Poole final would have been at Brandon, if the semi had not been postponed.

Could you explain that please Starman.... :o

Quite simple really, its between KL and poole.

Should not think it would ever go to a neutral venue but I feel a good one would be OTA, Somerset.

Would you really expect KL fans to travel all the way to Somerset?

Have a double header at Coventry, first KL v Poole followed by the winner of the semi against Cov.

That is an alturnative. But i think that would be a little unfair on either KL or us, or Even Coventry and the fans having to hang around in the cold.

This should be held at Poole imo, it would not be fair on the Pirates or their fans to hold it elsewhere. If a neutral venue has to be used, it should be Poole's choice as it will effectively be their home leg...

Perhaps, but the way the Weather is atm, who knows. As i type its raining, it will rain tomorrow, forcast rain Wednesday, but that could change, forcast rain Thursday. Thats the problem you have when you run in to October nowadays, you just cannot rely on the Weather.

Thats really why the bigwigs need to come up with a programme so that we finish at the end of September, inclusive of the play off's.

I suppose trying to get this match on could run from Wednesday to Sunday or is there something else going on at Wimborne Road on these dates?

Dogs on Saturday and Sunday.

There are plenty of ice rinks etc that they could use just lay a tempory track use the venue on a regular basis. No rain indoors. Problem solved. Why havn't the BPSA come up with this very simple solution, to all the rain off problem. I am sure that some ice rink somewhere in the British Isles, would love to earn a few extra bob. For the use of thier stadium for a few days in October and run all the leagues plays off semi,s and fimals there.

How come the PL and NL are not having the same problems wit rained off play off as the EL league are or are they just made of stronger stuff than the EL riders
