Posf2 Poole V Kings Lynn

Recommended Posts

Think you're wrong about the guests averages Baz, which is why Middlo has said he hasn't decided on the riding order yet!!

You'll be right about the pens and tippex though!!

ps. Met Office have just issued a Yellow weather warning for Dorset on Monday (but should clear up for the afternoon!!)

I hear Swindon are covering their track with Ronnie's plastic sheeting - not sure if Poole are attempting the same with their own or just letting the weather take its course?!

The replacement assumes the average of the rider he is replacing withe averages watt can only replace ward or janowski but king, cook and kennett could replace any of the other 3. In my opinion I think watt will be at 1, king at 3, pawlicki at 5, cook at 4 and kennett at 2, may just depend who matt and middlo think will ride best together

Fingers crossed because it wouldn't be fair on the league leaders being made to compete with no team.

Poole are depleted 4 guests and are also waiting on Newman's fitness. Disagree I make Lynn favourites Bjerre, Schlein and Nicholls will all go well a top rider like Wright at reserve and not forgetting the world beater R. Lambert as well :D

The latter part is just friendly banter :D

Yeah right what ever!!!!!!!!!!!!

All your posts have been Robert this, Robert that, Robert Robert Robert Robert....................

I know this forum is for freedom of speech....well sort of, but leave the boy alone,

Robert is an individual person, with his own style, techniques, attitude, you cannot compare him to any riders, if that would be possible we would have more Tai Woofys, Greg Hancocks,Darcy Wards etc etc. He is his own individual let him gain his experience at his own pace, and maybe in a couple of years time he will be a more experienced rider. this is his apprentaship year you cannot expect him to be up there with the others in only a few months......ok you will say hes been riding over in Germany, that is very true but he had to start at the bottom rung of the ladder there, to which have gained him some experience to then come to England to obviously be able to take part in the main body of the team and start here on the bottom rung also, but it has helped him. He will not of pleased everyone, but I bet if you ask a lot of fans around the track they are very happy with what he have produced, may be not every time but he has been consistent. no doubt you will rip this apart and slate me.

But gater1 you have more than expressed your views on Robert, you are so anti him, so give it a rest and leave the boy alone :nono:

Don't understand why no Bjarne Pedersen. Better average than all their guests, in decent form and a 10 year Poole stalwart who would be up for it.

Bjarne is not up for it. He has finished all his UK racing with his final meeting being the ELRC. He will not be back!

Kyle Newman is declared fit and has been made captain for Monday

Can Poole put a team out? One word really with all these guest riders... farce!

Other than squads or some kind of regular guest riders who are a teams 8/9th men I don't have an answer myself. But what is clear, Poole will actually be an old fashioned friendly 'Poole Select' team. If I was a Poole fan I would be even more annoyed at Ward getting himself suspended now!

Please correct me if I'm wrong, but you voicing a protection of Robert gives the impression your a family member. Taken on board what you say, I understand your concerns. But like you say about the forum and free speech, when you are in the public eye and fans pay to witness your sport they have the right to an opinion. It's all very nice when people are blowing sunshine up one's arse, but you have to take the good with the bad, the rough with the smooth. so you asking for some leniency, works two ways.

Regardless of age, when you ride in a team you have a responsibility to that team and that should be uppermost in ones thoughts. You say about Robert starting at the bottom of the ladder in the Elite league, but he didn't and went straight into the main body of the team. Probably if he had rode this year as a FTR and also in the Premier league, he would have been able to progressed with less pressure. By putting himself in the shop window he will always get opinions, and some will not be good.

Having seen many young talent over the years, Robert really impressed me last year. He showed all the attribute of a Champion. At 15 he was without equal. Sadly a year later things have changed. It has become a lot harder for him. other riders see him as a scalp and each race becomes more important. It's now that we need to see attitude.

You say leave him to learn in his own time. Without doubt, an immense talent. capable of beating anyone. Will always be a sought after rider, but a Champion? ....... Dunno
