RonButler
Whatever happens in these Play-off, to me Poole are the league Champions, Right or wrong, fortunate or what, it was them who headed the league . I agree. I have never been a supporter of the play-off system and never will be. Sadly, GRW, we are but voices crying in the speedway wilderness. I fear that will ever be the case. Incidentally, I am not a Poole fan. I speak as a supporter of speedway rather than a specific club.
Bagpuss
So what are the teams then? Lynn is Bjerre Lambert R Nicholls Porsing Schlein Wright Lambert S Poole should be King Cook Pawlicki Kennett Guest for Janowski Newman Guest for Compton Subject to Newman and Wright being fit after their recent falls! Chris Moss
Regarding the weather, it seems to be clearing up at 15:00 monday afternoon, so heres to hoping the met forecast is somewhat reliable. while I am a poole fan, i would like to think there will be some top racing on monday, guests or no guests, two teams are gonna have to battle it out! tyke
Poole are getting some terrible luck. It's almost as though someone up there doesn't like Matt Ford. Karma works in mysterious ways
uk_martin
Let me get this right. Poole could have 5, possibly 6 guests in their team, dependent on Newman's fitness? So when they are able to pick a team to suit any track, and engineer themselves another play-off win, who gets to keep the medals? The guests who won the play-offs for Matt Ford? Those who took no part in the play-offs? The one who is probably too drunk to care? What a mess.
SteveLyric2
So what are the teams then? Edit (think these are right) from Craig Cook (Guest), Edward Kennett (Guest), Danny King (Guest), Przemyslaw Pawlicki, Davey Watt (Guest), Benji Compton, Kyle Newman King’s Lynn Stars 1. Kenneth Bjerre, 2. Robert Lambert, 3. Scott Nicholls (G), 4. Nicklas Porsing, 5. Rory Schlein, 6. Charles Wright (G), 7. Simon Lambert Correct - but no confirmed riding order as far as Poole are concerned!! Guest riders assume the average of the rider they are replacing don't they?! Kings Lynn's to lose now!!!

stevebrum
I'm missing the Shovlar. He was good for a laugh - if nothing else. Come back, Steve, there's too much sanity on the forum and it's driving me mad! No accounting for taste i suppose.

cyclone
Cookie has hardly excelled at Wimborne Rd in the past. I assume that neither Doyle or Zagar were available to guest for the Pirates at no. 1 ? Edited October 5, 2014 by cyclone
Gavan
Surely Lynn cant lose this now. Runner-up prize could be heading to Norfolk this year Whilst the title will be heading to Swindon I hope lol and you don't troll! Look at how the 2 teams match up nothing between them! Granted it helps Lynn that a few home riders are missing but it's still Poole who are favourites to go through

Doyle unable to guest under the terms of his visa and Zagar wants to concentrate on the GP's / wants too much money / can't be bothered (delete as appropriate). Pirate Baz
Correct - but no confirmed riding order as far as Poole are concerned!! Guest riders assume the average of the rider they are replacing don't they?! Don't think so. Scotty has been replacing NKI but riding at 3 for the stars with Bjerre at 1 due to his higher average. This would mean Watty will be at 1. By the same token Pawlicki and King will be in the heat leader berths at 3 and 5. Personal opinion is that I think Shamek will be at 5 (Poole rider in heat 13) with Kennett and Cook at 2 and 4 (either way round but I'd have Eddie at 4). PS Bring plenty of tippex for your programmes. Edited October 5, 2014 by Pirate Baz

You'll be right about the pens and tippex though!! ps. Met Office have just issued a Yellow weather warning for Dorset on Monday (but should clear up for the afternoon!!) I hear Swindon are covering their track with Ronnie's plastic sheeting - not sure if Poole are attempting the same with their own or just letting the weather take its course?!
