depends what methord you use to work things out

im sure the offial figures for signed riders will become clear unless somerset are bringing in more riders from danish league

There is no method for working it out with 1.60 is is 0.60.

hansons average has been reported as el 5.5 and prem as 7.70

if i multiply 5.50 by 1.4 i get 7.70 thats the figure quoted so i take that to be the correct way of working it out

old conversion rate would be el 5.50 muliply by 1.6 = old prem average of 8.80

NO. The old rate was 0.6 not 1.6, how many more times? 5.5/0.6 = 9.17. The 1.6 is made up, not real, never happened. Anyone who tells you otherwise is either confused, wrong, stupid or repeating something they heard from someone who is confused, wrong or stupid.

This the wording of the relevant rule in the 2014 regs:-

18.6.4 If a Rider has only an EL Established MA from the previous season, then a conversion is

necessary; the EL MA is divided by 0.6, subject to the maximum converted MA being 12.00

As already stated we don't yet have the 2015 version to compare

Are we still going on about the conversion please move on

to an extent the actual conversion rate is almost irrelevant to the debate.

It is the fact that it was not communicated that is the issue.

Can you imagine that when football changed the offside rule if the first the fans knew about it was when the flag didnt do up in a game.

Correct. And for that a few of us feel sorry for you and a few others in Workington.

dont feel sorry for us. it affects you lot as well. doesent matter what car you drive .. 1.6 or 1.4. you will still pay the same road tax.

2015 rules made up in 2014, whatever next. next thing you know it will be in football .er . what do you mean it is..

So its now in effect 0.71248 instead of 0.60?

Taking Hansen's ave into consideration

5.5 / 0.6 = 9.17

5.5 / 0.71248 = 7.70 Thats a difference of 84%!

In 2014 the average EL admission was £16.65, PL admission was £15.23 (conversion rate of 0.915) does that now mean admission will also reflect this new conversion rate?
