bigcatdiary
Ah another genius who knows for a fact that Lanham will not perform and Holder will be the Dogs Bo**ocks. The time for this sort of comment is at the end of the season, then we will know for sure. Good luck to both of these lads from me. Well let's be fair Somerset didn't even consider LANHAM until forced into a change and nobody else wanted him including Sheffield. Â I think Somerset look very ordinary now and Workington look nothing special after weathering the Palm Toft decision.
Taylorj
The wheels coming off the Workigton wagon before the season has even begun - Toft who was expected by many at Workington given his new EL status to achieve over a 6 point average replace by Matt Wethers.... Dear oh dear. Lanham for Holder......... Glass houses  Gone from an average looking side to a poor one IMO. As we know from last season its not whats written on paper
scaramanga
funny isnt it that when workington signed palm-toft it was either hes rubish anyway or we fiddled the average by bringing him on his genuine prem league average as set out in the rules due to him not riding prem league last year now all of a suden now that hes no longer in the team hes a superstar as workington is now a weaker team without him  gonna be a interesting season i think Edited January 16, 2015 by scarra
Panthers89
You are weakened, palm toft had ability to add a 1.50 to his average imo, with whethers, no chance.
Marksman
You are weakened, palm toft had ability to add a 1.50 to his average imo, with whethers, no chance. Â Is this the same Palm-Toft who would score 5 from 5 guesting as a PL reserve last season, or the same Wethers who put nearly that figure on his average in 2013 and averaged 6.79? He knows the PL inside out, is going to be fully fit come march and is still only 29, hardly a bad move by us.

Very true BCD however we had to sign somebody and as someone else pointed out Lanham was injured pretty much all of last season but is now fit. I think if he stays fit he will improve his low average once he gets dialled into the OTA.I remember us taking a punt on Charles Wright at a critical stage in 2013 when no one else showed any interest,I`ll settle for a similar outcome.

Lord Skid
Should have tried harder to sign Bunyan, scored 17 for fun guesting for Tigers at Worky last year, when he obviously wasn't interested in riding for Rockets, no other 4.6 riders will do that Edited January 17, 2015 by Lord Skid
jenga
i dont think bunny has got fixed up yet. good showing at workington last season, must have got him on a good night.
Lord Skid
Too many Rockets lost interest last year, Tigers obviously paid what they promised, seem to remember Rusty and Bunyan beat Comets on their own that night, Tigers only away win. comet49
Both ineligible, dropped hardly seems the right word. Not in the team though, Rusty? Kauko?
