coomie
Well why didn't you sign him if he was such a steal on that average. The rule that gives Toft a 4.92 average is clear, unambiguous and has been in place for some years. ... whereas Brady Kurtz's average should clearly have been 7.00 - no matter what the voices from Somerset say. they did not sign him because they made a mistake by missing him!,
Wildcat
What's more likely? Wells and Howarth or Cook and Morris?
Najjer
Can't see that. Always a danger with riders like Charles Wright that one thing goes wrong mentally and they'll plummet. Seems a rider very dependant on confidence to perform. That's very much his brother - however I think Charles is a completely different sort of rider and even with a 6+ average should still add to that considerably in 2015. Django
What's more likely? Wells and Howarth or Cook and Morris? Can't see Cook coming, however much I'd like it. I think it will be Wells and Jorgensen, we love a Dane or 5 now!!!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Dont think there is any comparison between Kurtz and MPT---- MPT came in oringinally on a 7!!! 4.93 was his last average in the PL so that where he is--as my mate often say--averages dont lie!! but its not his last average - which should override it.If he had not ridden in Britain at all fair enough but he did. Therefore he has a established British average for 2014 which should be used with the relevant conversion rate.

Nah---totally unfair---got a bigger EL average than his PL due to beating aload of fast track riders i could have beat riding a 3 legged donkey
Lord Lucan
What's more likely? Wells and Howarth or Cook and Morris? The former I would say, with the team being built with the idea of keeping Campton at reserve, I cant see the likes of Morris, especially coming back after serious injury, being capable of scoring 5+ on a regular basis to keep him there? Some relatively moderate averages in this team so far, improvement definitely a possibility and who knows, with so many Danes in it maybe even Rene could be improved as well, win win!! Therefore he has a established British average for 2014 which should be used with the relevant conversion rate. The rule about having a season in the EL and being allowed to move back to the PL on your last average has been in place since 2001! So it's hardly some new loop-hole. Incidentally the double figure score at Somerset was R 1 1 1 = 3. He beta Paul Starke twice and a rider who fell off (Christian Henry). Hardly making a mockery of his 4.9 average. What about one of his other PL bookings? 1 1 1 0 = 3 for Glasgow at reserve at home vs Rye House. He did get 8+1 for Plymouth at Redcar but still not Earth shattering, 8+1 from 6. He did score 13+2 at Rye House for Glasgow though. 4 PL meeting for a 6.1 average. Thats not even as good as his 2012 figure and barely any better (5.8) than his 2011 figure. Seems a rider very dependant on confidence to perform. If the EL race format is similar to last year, he'll score heavily at reserve and that'll keep his confidence high. if Somerset maybe, not likely elsewhere. I was basing him getting a point extra on riding at Somerset or Workington.

Doesn't say he has does it, but would seem pointless to make the return public unless he did. Looks like Ms Morgan has chucked even more beans at him than Glasgow. Utterly crazy. Amazed we didnt see more of this. Was done purely so Lakeside had fall on his services. I'd like to see Coventry do something similar with Lynn for Joe Jacobs after Lynn were prevented form signing either of their two assets in the EL draft. A lot of better riders in the draft this year. Won't be that clear cut.
