A ORLOV
Shocking display from Swindon, outgated in most races. The state of the track did not help and the start should have been covered but the bees made the starts and we did not adapt. Congratulations to the bees for a well deserved win. Was very impressed by Max, Kyle and James.

Yeah Orlov, that would be the Kyle Howarth who couldn't make the turn out of bend 2 effectively until he learned how to ride the Abbey track in the latter stages of the 2013 season. Last night he was about 8 bike lengths in front by the first bend in his second race and clocked the 2nd fastest time of the night! And as for Max Fricke, what a guest! We were hoping that what we referred to as the "soft underbelly" of the Coventry Team would fail (i.e.Howarth & Fricke) but if anything Andersen and Harris were the weak links!!!

Was very impressed by Max, Kyle and James. The start line is no excuse though. Same for both teams and we gated like we had 7 members of weight watchers on the bikes. Must have been 2 bike lengths behind by the first bend in half the races at least. By far the worst display of gating i've ever seen.
Chalkie
One of the worst in their history. Obviously you were not at Lakeside on 29 September 2008 then? Admittedly, that was away from home, when the semis were only one legged.
stevebrum
You were spouting off the other day about the Bees not reaching the final because the mighty MJJ had gone ..Don't worry about any Bees fan being embarrassed win or lose its a final & you have to be in in to win it & I am sure they will enjoy it whatever !! Who needs the EL rubbish of MJJ when the Bees have much better guests like Fricke. MJJ is so 2 seasons ago.
Gemini
......sedgleywolf....Having watched the mish mash of elite, premier and national league riders/guests in this years POSF's, and watching the Swedish PO final on Eurosport, I know which one I will be following more closely next year on TV. Our league just gets weaker every year, yet Swedish teams can put out teams like the 2 below. I watched both matches and although the first one was good and had some exciting races the second one was no different to any league match you'd see over here. See what you think after following the Swedish league next season because I gave up very early on this year. I just wanted to say how lovely the Swindon fans are on here (with possibly one or two exceptions normally.) Each and every one has accepted defeat in the best manner and it is appreciated by the Coventry fans. I sat with some friends for the first leg who are Robins supporters and at the end I wished them success in the final as I felt so confident they would be going through. Proved wrong by a very determined Coventry side! Well done Bees.
Anzum
Yes well done Coventry. I would have gladly taken Hans, Harris and Garrity only scoring 17 between them before the start. However Howarth was superb with Fricke and Sarjeant not far behind.
Bee 26
Fricke scored more than MJJ would have got last night, especially on a wet track!
BluPanther
Fricke scored more than MJJ would have got last night, especially on a wet track! MJJ is very good on wet tracks, so i'm not sure why you think that..
Bee 26
Not from what I seen on his performances on some of the tracks when wet
Gavan
One team wanted it and one didnt. The Coventry boys are better suited to a wet track, but it was shocking to see riders like North hardly try, and Batchelor wasnt much better. One last thing regarding Nathan Greaves. Ive only seen Swindon ride on sky this season so maybe doing him an injustice, but he falls off a heck of a lot and when he doesnt he looks like he is out of control or about to fall off. Dont get me wrong i admire any of these guys who do the sport we love and risk injury to do it, but he doesnt seem to sit right on the bike and seems to be out of his depth. Starman2006
Yep, fair play. I was one of the Havvy critics, and he's knuckled down and proved himself this year. Well done, Havvy. Good to hear you've eaten Humble pie Speedybee, i just wish many other Coventy fans would do the same.. Havvy was still finding his feet last season in the managerial circus. It was his first season, and anybody is going to bound to make mistakes. He's now learn't by those mistakes and this is the result. Triple.H.
As a neutral if I hadn't pre-paid for tickets I wouldn't have bothered going along to tonight meeting after the dank day we've had. Turned out a worthwhile trip to see Swindon get such a humiliating spanking at home, which could have been even worse. The locals weren't happy! We were watching in the pub in Oxford and it was wonderful to watch the Robins lose even though it was to the Bees who ain't to popular in this neck of the woods either just hope the Stars beat the south coast ne're do wells and go on to win the final

Looks unbalanced and uncomfortable on the bike. Always likely to fall at any time. Sadly, don't think the lad will make it past a PL second string. Bees_Man
Even with a great preference it can't hide the fact that Hansen is very poor. Last night he ride like a novice, and will need to pick it up in the final. Over the last few months id have thought he was from the draft and not Garrity or Sargent ! Before everyone says "but he's only 16" there are plenty of others that age (Lambert?) giving it their all this season. Can't understand why Robins fans admire him so much, I don't see the effort there.

He had a few weeks where he was beating riders and scoring points but gone backwards last few weeks and looked as though his head was down. His attitude last night was shocking though. Giving up when Garrity was all over the shop was terrible.

His attitude last night was shocking though. Giving up when Garrity was all over the shop was terrible. It seemed like all our riders gave up before it started when they saw the wet track, but Greaves efforts were particularly pitiful. The shame of it all was how up for it the large Robins crowd were at the start but within four heats you could tell what was going to happen and the atmosphere was flat. arnieg
even if Nathan Greaves had put in one of his best performances of the season he still wouldn't have scored more than a point or two and Swindon would still have lost. It's not his fault he was the fourth choice for the no 7 slot.
