A ORLOV
Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday are the official rain off dates. Wed and Fri they have dog racing so it could be tues if they have permission to run that night.
Grachan
I understand that only the losing side can request a track inspection. So, with rain expected on Monday, what happens if Coventry are 6 down at heat 10? Can they call for a track inspection?
A ORLOV
Looking at the forecast the rain is due before 7 not later in the evening.
van wolfswinkel
Don't think it will be a 29-point trouncing as last time, but Swindon should get into Grand Final against Poole as 2 years ago. Will go 52-40 to the Wiltshire side.
Crazy robin
Think the Bees will go through courtesy of them using tactical rides but really hope I'm wrong.

TheSmiler
I literally can't call this. Coventry will be helped by tacticals if it gets that bad. I can actually see a 90-90 appearing here.
waiheke1
I think that it is crazy at the best of times but in a 2 legged meeting! Surely the sensible thing if tacticals have to be used in the semi's, it should be based on the overall score. I can well remember Reading loosing the 2006 Final on tactical rides . Absolutely bonkers.Your suggestion is worse though, massive disadvantage for the team home in the first meeting.
BritPete
I will still be in Shanghai when this meeting is on, but I will definitely be watching the updates. The first meeting was a bit disappointing and we really should have kept it closer than we did. It’s all to play for though, and on our home track we definitely have the power to win through. Maybe, we had a couple of riders who felt the pressure of a semi-final in the first leg, but surely The lure of a place in the final can overcome that, and if so, we can get there.
Steve0
I don't understand why people think this will be tight - unless the rain intervenes! Swindon gifted Coventry too many points in the first leg and they shouldn't make the same mistake again and should win comfortably at home and progress through. The only "fly in the ointment" should be if it rains - and we all know what happened last time it rained against Coventry. C'mon you Robins !!
Bee 26
So Max Fricke steps in for Barker. Think this will be close with Swindon just pulling the 8 points back. Weather forecast doesn't look good so could be a wet track which might suit us!
Grachan
How can Coventry have a guest for Barker? Havelock made it clear on Monday that Barker was fit but he wasn't sure about using him in the second leg. That's fine if he doesn't want to use Barker, but there is no way they should be allowed a guest. Swindon should protest about this.

Barker would ride if he was race fit, how is using Fricke a bonus, Barker is a better rider than Fricke.

I don't think that's the point. It's more of this guest nonsense, and if Barker is able to ride then he should. Because he is in the Coventry team.

Because he is in the Coventry team. I would have thought they would be better off with r/r they way Garrity performed monday. Last time i saw Fricke ride aginst Poole at Coventry he was pretty poor so i wouldn't worry too much. On the plus side the weather forecast seems to be better so hopefully it is a dry night. It was initially showing rain all day but it's showing a dryer evening now. Fingers crossed on that one, I guess.

Fingers crossed on that one, I guess. You don't need a wet track, that would play into Coventry's hands and we don't want that do we!! I've been to Coventry once this season, that's enough for anyone!
houdi
When it comes to Playoffs, I really don't agree with the use of tacticals, this is when they should be banned for all four teams imo. Hope they are not used next monday by any team including Swindon. I'm sure every Bees fan will be perfectly happy if Swindon get to use not only 1 but indeed 2 tacticals on the night.

Barker still has restricted movement so god knows how he is expected to ride a bike. He hasnt and isn't riding for Plymouth either.
