What an absolutely shambolic and gutless performance from our lads apart from king and a lesser extent pijper. What is the draw for the paying customer on Sunday? They can can blame the injuries all they want but they mucked up the team good and proper.

shambolic performance by the riders apart from king and theo, ludvig is known as the moth at brough as he flies in the dark so he must have had broken wings or every time he rode they must have turned out the lights, as for dilger its AUF WIEDERSEN PET TO YOU I cant be botherd to comment on the rest, but 1 things for sure had we still had anton and Christian in the team we would have got more than 27 points tonight when they got released the riders that came in seemed to un balance the team.. for poor lewis rose in at num 2 even though he done well it left us with to much to do at reserve with some of the lower league riders that came in and done there best but we were not strong enough away from home,, looking to next season if we retain ludde please get him a decent spanner man ffs

Shame for us Witches fans that were hoping to see Danny at Foxhall in the final albeit against us.

Well done to the Monarchs - see you on Thursday!

Nothing to do with spanner man tonight. Lack of effort from 5 of our riders who were a total disgrace in biggest match of season. Well done to kingy who was fantastic!

king would've been the only bright spot for the diamonds had we got into the final going by that poor show tonight,, well done to the monarchs I can see them doing the treble

I think they are odds -on for the treble.

Very slick show tonight 30 heats 2 3/4 hrs including 20 minute break, and Teams using R/R in both matches.

Agreed, but as with all neutral fans, I want to see the 'smugs' fall flat on their collective backsides. Sour grapes? probably true, but they are to our league what Poole and Cradley are to their respective leagues.

Omg!! That has to be the worst Newcastle performance at the dale ever and to do it in a semi final very poor. I can honestly say the scoreline flattered Newcastle. Danny king was the only rider that turned up and gave us a couple of cracking races. Love watching Sam masters chasing down riders the lad is really special.

Monarchs have worked incredibly hard this year and given the final table deserve the title but 5 extremely hard meetings remaining and there are certainly no gimme s.

Confident we'll have enough to make the ko cup final so will probably give Newcastle a miss on Sunday, shame. 17 matches in a row unbeaten again.

After Newcastles last performance i was expecting a close match but apart from King the rest were shocking tie over all ready professional performance on Sunday to see the tie off then onto the final.

17 wins on the trot for the Monarchs, certainly have the momentum. They have 7 fit riders for the run in which is key for the aggregate matches. Last night they were much sharper from the starts and it showed it was the Diamonds first tteam meeting on track since Glasgow in mid September. hardly good preparation and it's a month since we rode at home, so don't fancy our chances at all against the rampant monarchs on Sunday.

Maybe we should have arranged a fixture in the interim to give track time.

Good decision making at the start of the year in choosing Sedgman and Worrall on low averages has led them to being so strong.

Both riders have come on leaps and bounds this season.

Edinburgh are a very good side and as you say did well putting it together with a lot of riders making significant increases in their averages but you have also been very fortunate with no significant injuries.

I think the Monarchs have a good chance of the treble, they should be too strong for anyone over two legs.
