MD
Find it hard to believe where Edinburgh get there forecasts, never seen any that didn't suggest the wet weather was coming back in this evening(if it ever stopped in most of the Lothians).probably gambled with it being Newcastle and fairly local opposition. How many times this season have they said Definately On only to call off late on. And then churlishly blame the Met Office.
DavyH
The MetCheck forecast for Armadale was moderate rain until 12 noon then dry thereafter - I am 10 miles away in Livingston - the forecast was rain all day and they were right with that one. When the rain comes from the west, it often passes over Armadale then falls east of the Bathgate hllls. With Torun next weekend then France the week after till end November that is my Monarchs speedway over this season Plus we were due in hospitality tonight. Never mind, just have to rely on the chatzone updates as the business end of the season unfolds. My F5 button will be worn out! And then churlishly blame the Met Office. Why not blame the Met Office - they got it badly wrong for the second time in the last 4/5 weeks.

Justgotmecpc
I would'v rather went 2nd just incase we are keep'n it close as there's a good chance the curfew would kick in,, as it happens the monarchs won at the showground so they'll easy beat the panthers on Friday by a big margin just hope they don't do the same to us

Build a big of a lead as possible against us, and, all things being equal, it shouldn't matter about the second match as it should be a formality, but a bit risky if they have engine problems or, God forbid, any injuries in the match against us. Mr Blobby
Really good of Edinburgh to keep the admission prices down. £24 for a cup semi final and a final is a good price IMO
MrP
Really? I think it's a bit steep if I'm honest. It would cost my family and I over £100 in entrance fees alone. That's before petrol. I know double headers are a nightmare to most promotions but like I say too steep for us.

KEITH M
£24 for a cup semi final and a final is a good price IMOAye if you get to see 30 heats which I very much doubt
TheScotsman
Edinburgh are pretty good at scheduling their double headers. Unlike Peterborough where the best they managed in 3 attempts was 28 heats. I suppose the races take slightly less time at Armadale!!
