Redcar 2015.

I think you will find 'Robbo' is an excellent signing for Redcar. Stuart is an out and out racer, never gives up and often has to come from the back which makes for exciting racing. If you look back at his career he rode as a number 2 with Greg Hancock at Coventry which helped him become the team rider he is today. At Rye House, Stuart was instrumental in helping young riders like Eddie Kennett, Danny King, Tai Woffinden and others. He is a true professional with top equipment and will do really well I am sure. I hope he also has the opportunity to double up for Coventry.

Happy with the three signings so far. Like Robbo, only hope he isn't left high and dry as a number one but will be a great second heat leader. Hugh is a better rider than he thinks he is. Jan is a good signing at reserve and unlike other 'fans' I will explain my reasoning. I thought signing Jan last year was a very big mistake. Jan was Mr. Homer in 2013. His average around Leicester was in the high sevens, away from home down near three. Surely a 'false' average if there ever was one! However Jan rode really well for us and despite his home average dropping (understandably) he did increase his away average by a reasonable amount. I was happy to be proved wrong and if Jan can get his STMP average up to that of his Leicester home average and maintain his away improvement he will be an asset to the team. However we still need an outright number one and I'm gutted that we won't see Kozza Smith wearing his Bears colours.

As long as Jan does start at reserve. We had a smilar situation a few years back when Schuanek was initially signed as a reserve but Brians last signing propelled him into the top 5!

When was Edinburgh last in the North East? Come to think of it Edinburgh speedwsy is nowhere near Edinburgh more like half way between Scotlands two major cities. If the Bears signed Ritchie Worrall the club wouldn't see the colour of my money!

He'd probably boost the gate, whether you went or not.

Still be amazed if Stuart Robson is not signed up, nice cheap option for Redcar promotion!

Not a shock, and again this very annoying trend of signing former (past it) Newcastle riders and although still a cheap option not a bad one and should deliver points for us on a regular basis.

But the best news is no Wilkinson! Dreadful rider who if he put as much effort into maintaining his equipment as he does moaning about his machinery and money etc he would be a GP star.

Well Worrall might add a bit more fight and hope than that bunch, can't say much about Roynon, he's always on the sick.

Yes but none of those stated they would like to see Redcar shutdown, like Worrall did in the Speedway Star - would refuse to watch a Bears side if that scumbag ever signed for us.

I know that but it would be nice to have a challenging side, rather than cast-off's. It's very doubtful that they'd get him anyway, unless a third party was prepared to bankroll him, Havelock certainly wouldn't spend more than the bare minimum on riders, even if he had it.
