Redcar 2015.

Been quiet on here so with there being a social night at the STMP tonight, thought I would give this a bump!

Still no clue as to how we will line up this season. Would like to keep Lawson if his EL commitments could let that happen without missing too many meetings. Would like to keep Summers and Skidmore as well. Would be good to see Kozza Smith this season as he is an entertainer, and I think his loss really affected our side this season. As for the rest, who knows? Would be surprised if Wilko did not head to Peterborough with his sponsor. Graversen started and ended the year well, and I would tempted to include him again if he would start at reserve.

Hopefully after tonight we will have a few more clues!

Well, Graversen the first rider to be confirmed coming back. Although looks like it will be a very different team to last year.

Comes in on a 4.14 average so hopefully be starting at reserve again. Scored well at the start of the season, struggled in the middle but finished off quite strongly so should hopefulyl be a good reserve again.

As for the rest of the side, no idea who it will be now. Looking like no Lawson/summers/Smith who were all high on my list to sign.

Graversen has been here about 6 years now, every season it stated he'll be a trump card at reserve, every season he ends on between 4 and 4.5. He'll do as he always does.

What's everyone's thoughts on Thomas Jorgensen in for Redcar? I think it'll be a good move, hoping he can maintain his for as he was good when visiting with Scunthorpe and made the final in the individual meeting, gating is top notch

I would definitely take him, seems to always go well round the STMP and has guested a few times for us. Not sure if he is on our radar or not, but would hope he is!

Redcar captain Aaron Summers looks set to be on the move this winter after handing in a written transfer request. The Australian has spent the last four seasons at the South Tees Motorsports Park, but after interest from a rival club he has confirmed to the Bears promotion his desire to leave.

The announcement of Summers wish to leave came after it was revealed that Redcar had secured the services of Jan Graversen ahead of the 2015 Premier League season.

Graversen had a mixed 2014 season at Redcar, but showed improvement at the tail end of the year. His Silver Helmet victory at the end of season was enough to convince the Bears management that he was worth a team place in 2015.

The Bears are also in talks to re-sign rider of the year for 2013 and 2014, Hugh Skidmore. The talks are still very much in the preliminary stages, but Bears fans will be desperate to see the Australian return on loan from Sheffield.

Number one Richard Lawson is another likely to follow Summers out the exit door at Redcar after just one season with the Bears. Both riders have been linked with the same Northern club, with at least one set to be announced in the not to distant future.

Think Havelock, needs to mount, a charm offensive to "woo" riders to Redcar. Well we know he can be "offensive", think its the "charm" bit he might struggle with.
