Scunthorpe Vs Ipswich ( P L Play-offs) - Friday, October 3rd (7.30pm)

Recommended Posts

Let's hope there's a promotion on for the Sheffield/Buxton dead meetings on the 12th or they'll be hardly anyone there.

I am probably going to go, promotion or not.

That's principally because I might just get a bit more of what I saw last Friday but also because I think the Stags (at last) will have worthy opponents in Buxton and because I can't resist the prospect of being slagged off for 4 hours by Sunglasses Dave :P:D

It was still going when he rode it back to the pits, and normally with ignition failure it will make a pop and spit a flame out the back. All I and others saw was him overtaken then you could see him shut off, if slowed down then after race had finished he rode it into the pits

From that comment I take it you are his mechanic?

He does refer to his ignition on his twitter page.

Maybe that's why it broke then, he should try selettra ignition, far better for small engines, let hope he uses that Friday.

After all I've said about us not doing very well this coming Friday, I'm actually going to change my mind and say we will get at least a point. Once every now and then an Ipswich team will win a meeting they are never expected to, for example, at Workington a couple of season ago. This may just may be another one of those meetings, we are due one. Is a point enough for us?
