lucifer sam
Match No 5 in Play-Off Group B. The Scorpions could go into this meeting needing a big home win, while the Witches will have a better idea after the previous night's home meeting with Somerset as to what they need from this fixture. The regular league match resulted in a 55-38 win for the Scorpions, despite taking their foot off the gas in the final stages. Bound to be another cracker around the EWR. Willowman
Looks like the Scorpions have got a trophy this season - the most topics started by their press officer trophy!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
The 2 matches this week before this one will set out what each team needs to do and therefore how they approach it. Us Witches fans cant feel too confident given our general form at EWR but this is the play offs and anything can happen! No prediction from me at this stage. Whatever will be will be!! lucifer sam
Tomorrow is now the key. Ipswich win or draw - they are through Ipswich lose - Somerset are probably through. Wilko in for Ashley Birks. All the best Rob

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Come on boys you can do this! Need a solid start to build on. First priority is not to be out if it after the first 5 heats. Up the Witches.
spanner47
Birks being out must help the Witches cause, but who have we got? I assume Morten wont be back, so R/R for him and ????? for Gino. Also is it correct Wells for Klindt?

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
want shooting really if you don't bruv...it may seem like that but there been a few times weve had about 7 points after 5 heats at Scunny! I really dont expect that to happen tomorrow but.....
Baldyman
Is this going our way? No Birks certainly helps us. I'm sure I read Kyle Newman was guesting somewhere, not Wilkinson, but again if it is Wilkinson, that helps us. Hope gino has a bike to race, and sorry morten nothing against you, but if it's rr for morten, that's another bonus imho
mickthemuppet
After tonight's Ipswich v Somerset it will be a terrible shame if the Witches do not make the play off finals. . Take the 4/1 that BetVictor are offering for Ipswich to win the play off
Super Blue
From memory the Witches I seem to recall have a very poor record at Scunthorpe so to get within 6 pts would be a minor miracle let alone draw or win ! This is what makes the home meeting against Somerset a disappointment for me , it should have been a total annihilation not just a decent win . However , onwards and upwards in the hope we can pull something out of the bag and somehow do what's required to make the final . Coz one thing is certain , Somerset will make mincemeat of Ipswich at the OTA .
SomersetBlue
No offence to Witches fans but come on you Scorpions. Help us out and just win please. Rebel Army!!

Kyle Newman was going to be the guest at Somerset on Wednesday, but pulled out taking a knock to the knee at King's Lynn on Monday. Bash
From memory the Witches I seem to recall have a very poor record at Scunthorpe so to get within 6 pts would be a minor miracle let alone draw or win ! We did manage to get a draw last season and that was with Jari Makinnen in the team. Earlier this season we lost by 20 but that was when Richie W and Cam were out of form, Adam was riding for lakeside so we had Max Clegg as a guest. We have a chance tonight and could be a tight meeting. A lot depends on which Gino turns up as he was struggling with his bikes last night as his best are probably in Czecho for the u-21 world championship. Maybe Chris could lend him one of his rocketships.
EC Rides Again
Scunthorpe only have three of their 1-7 available so the Witches will never have a better chance than this. However, I think that it will be tight and go down to Heat 15. Nervous night for the Rebels fans methinks.
gusworld
With what's at stake Witches should do it with Scunthorpe depleted. I'm hoping for a last heat decider but the Witches should have it all wrapped up by then.

Nervous night for the Rebels fans methinks. but in Howe Auty and Jorgensen they have 3 that could go through the card and win the meeting if the Witches are not set up and on the pace grom the outset.Id be very happy for the Witches to go into heat 15 still in with a shout. That would be some effort in itself and there of course anything could happen.

As well as the three musketeers I think that Wilko will be useful at reserve.
