Looks like Plymouth are in for jack holder

Wonder if he will become a genuine asset or is he just being placed to get an average. It's happened before, family connections.

And don't forget the Loan cost to Poole as it seem they own him which is stupied as he has not even rode for them as of yet.

Officially a team cant claim a foreign rider as an asset without appearing for them I believe. This has changed from.previously.

However it has been indicated that 'arrangements' are in place for certain riders to arrive with an 'understanding' with regard to their future.

Unless the rider rode for Glasgow then the rules are made up to suit. :nono:

One rider I'm really shocked hasn't got a PL place is Adam Ellis. The fact he has signed for Lakeside in the EL and they are a Friday track rules him out of signing for Plymouth but I can't help but think he has made a mistake as I feel it would help his development far more to be riding PL next season.

With the reduction the Brits receive he would fit into the 4.64 that Plymouth would have available that's if Holder is indeed the next on the list.

I don't think it by choice on his part and the Friday situation and with Lakeside having priority as an asset limits options.

Agree with you that PL racing would be at least as, and probably more, beneficial than the fast track.

I think the surprising bit is that he has chosen the NL over the PL.

He can, at the moment, ride EL & PL or EL & NL but not PL & NL.

Once the season starts he will be able to gain a PL place while continuing to ride for Birmingham & Lakeside.

5 Friday tracks ruled out straight away and anyone else signing him would be disadvantaged when the rode at the Friday tracks, it's too much aggravation, not in the least surprised he has missed out.

Other rider possibly Darryl Ritchings?

Thats unlikely as he riding for the Coventry Storm on a Friday night. Plus you have about 4.5 points left don't you? Plenty of better option option on that figure surely? Though I must admit I've not actually looked myself.

As has been suggested on the Devil's forum by Mikeyt, wouldn't it be just great if young Jack were to be assessed at a 5 now?

IF that did happen (unlikely IMO) then I wouldnt be surprised to see him reinstated in the Somerset line up.
