Then why is Kyle Howarth listed to be riding for Workington at Armadale, and not for Coventry in the same match as Joe Jacobs?

Jenga beat me to it!! :t: and as far as I was aware, Kyle was only a provisional to be riding, he was bashed about a bit last week and I've never known anyone recover that quick from fractures, minor or otherwise?

Good to see Stevie getting his average down

Yeah nothing to do with it being somewhere around his 130th meeting of the season and its possibly catching up with him. With the way the averages work though he does have an over inflated average and it would be tragic if that prevents him getting a PL team next season.

he drives a van and maintains and rides a bike... He's not a bloody hod carrier ffs.

Maybe not but I can't be bothered with the lowering his average posts, it's the guys job less points means less money, as I said earlier though he does look like being lumbered with a high average for 2015. Edited by spt82

he will have to do something because not many teams will use him on his current average IMO... Or maybe it's just because he is a very good reserve but ordinary 1-5 man??

I think he can be a very solid 2nd string even 3rd heat leader, Stevie would be very close to my rider of the season for Edinburgh and if he was a 6.50 to 7.00 I'd have him back no worries, but over 8.00 I genuinely worry about him getting a team place next year in the PL, that's one of the flaws of the rolling averages. His average is one of the most extreme cases seen since rolling aves came in, replacing sub 5pt scores with high double figures across the board. In fact his average represents this season pretty well, until his last couple of matches he has been doing rather well since stepping into the team.

Main problem with this statement is play offs don't count towards averages. Neither do cup ties

If you had seen him battle from 4th to 2nd in ht14 you certainly wouldn't have accused him of that. Essentially he lost to worky's 3 decent riders tonight, wells is always good at the dale and win in ht15 demonstrated that. Rene Bach looked really good tonight until his crash, I would have loved to see him try to break down deek and Max in that race. No disgrace to lose to Doolan either. So no problem there.

I do agree with the point that he is going to be left with an inflated average. But it won't be as badly inflated as some are suggesting, his final average will contain 15/16 meetings in the main body of the team. His final average is going to be about 7.54 so I think he will be worth a punt for some promoters. Only an increase of 4.54, phenomenal

Lightning gater which makes a massive difference.

Another disappointing scoreline, may have been a tad better if we hadn't lost Rene late on but apart from Wells precious little support from anywhere else?

Too much too soon for Kyle judging by that performance and not the big score we were hoping for from Kev either, Simon,s looks quite a fair return but little of note from Mason and Ryan?

Maybe one day we can construct a team that will take Edinburgh on up there, getting boring now!!
