Genuine question Weegie fans. .. not read good things about the stadium for those people who come with prams! Are the main entrances more accommodating than last year? And is it easy enough to get around the stadium with one to a vantage point with a decent view?

Access is a lot better than last year for prams enter through a new tarmac area purchase your ticket & enter through glass double doors to a new bar area,snack bar area all terraces are now all level and there is a wider walk way so there is plenty room for you and the pram if you intend to go round the back straight you would need to go over a stoned area at the 4th bend but with todays prams it shouldn't be a problem hope this helps.

It's the state of the sport I'm afraid . Good Friday was always going to spell trouble with the doubling up rule . Swindon has first choice on Morris , Coventry has on Sarjeant . Our hands are tied on that one . And although we have preference with Lawson , maybe that doesn't apply when it's a league match or a challenge match , like Friday

Begs the question, then, why arrange a challege match on that day when the two teams meet in the LC group just three weeks later?

Fair point, we still have the Spring Trophy probably because that's what's always happened. I'd happily ditch it in favour of starting a challenge against someone else, and in April.

That's all I wanted... Thanks Gaz... tell your fellow supporter to be a bit more courteous... you've had a lot of changes to your stadium and with still being a relatively new Mum I wanted to know what would make the day easier for myself. That is the only reason I asked!

I think I saw posted on facebook that they intend to tarmac round the outside of bends 1 and 2 so it will become easier to get round to the back straight Sarah but that it probably wouldnt be til a little later in the year. You shouldnt have to justify why you asked - perfectly reasonable question and thank goodness Gazc was about to give you a reasonable answer! (never thought I'd say that about Gaz :P )

RYE HOUSE PRESS RELEASE:::

:::::::::

Eat, Sleep, Race, Repeat!
All roads lead to Rye House at Easter, with not one, not two, but THREE matches to look forward to at the Hoddesdon raceway this holiday weekend.
Kicking things off, the bikes are back to burn down the night once again on Saturday – but this time we will be doing it Raiders style.
Yes, the Restart Raiders are back in the City Gearboxes National League after a two season hiatus – and also looking forward to resuming a fierce club rivalry that goes back to 1975. 40 years on, it’s once again Rye House vsMildenhall - this time in the National Trophy.
Look out for a full match preview on the dedicated Raiders’ website at www.ryehouseraiders.co. The start time on Saturday is 7pm sharp.
You want more? Well, BOTH Rye House teams will be on show just two days later, on Easter Monday, in the first double header action of the new season.
The main event will pit the Restart Rockets against East Anglian rivals Peterborough, with the Rockets looking to maintain their spectacular start to the campaign – and also their drive towards a place in the final four of the League Cup.
The Panthers will have Richard Lawson installed as a guest at No.1 for broken ankle victim Olly Allen, withUlrich Ostergaard, Lewis Blackbird and teenage sensation Robert Lambert – who turns 17 the day before this match – also set to feature heavily.
Completing the Peterborough line-up are two season Rocket Simon Lambert and 2014 battler Ollie Greenwood, plus former Scunthorpe and Belle Vue star Michael Palm Toft, who is covering for the sidelined Adam Roynon on a 28 day basis.
The Rockets, meanwhile, will have Nico Covatti in situ as a guest for Kasper Lykke, who is nursing a knee injury sustained riding in Poland on Sunday. Covatti bagged a couple of race wins as an Ipswich Witch when visiting Hoddesdon on opening night.
Rockets team manager John Sampford is swift to emphasise that his side will not under-estimate their opponents despite last week’s stunning victory at the East of England Showground in the first match between the two clubs. “You only have to look at the Panthers’ line-up to realise that it is still a strong one and that it will come good during the season. They will also be smarting after last Friday’s result, so there’s definitely no room for any complacency on our part just because we have already won there. We still have to earn every race win and every point.
“Having said that, the mood in the camp is absolutely fantastic, and the team has already gelled together really well after just three matches together. It’s up to us to maintain the buzz with the right result on Monday.”
If that’s not enough, the Restart Raiders will also be back in action as they aim to build a healthy lead to take up to the Potteries in the first leg of their Knock-Out Cup tie against Stoke. That match will follow the League Cup encounter for a combined total of thirty races in one afternoon!
The start time on Easter Monday is 2pm.
Admission for Saturday’s Raiders-Mildenhall clash is: Adults £10.00, Children (aged 12-16) £5.00, with Children (under 12) FREE. Racecard: £1.00.
Admission for Easter Monday’s double header is: Adults £20, Seniors £17, Children (aged 12-16) £8, with Children under 12 FREE. Double header programme: £3.00.

You wont get the pram round to the back straight Sarah . The walkway at the 3rd bend is too narrow for that

I tend to only give reasonable answers to reasonable people and not to those that end a sentence with Ken or have a picture off Blobby as there sig ;) .

Sarah Glasgow have just issued a stadium update stating that in response to constructive criticism they intend to have a pathway round to the back straight that is suitable for prams and wheelchairs by this Sunday :-)

They'll never get anywhere with this attitude. Don't they know the correct response is, "if you don't like it thne you know what to do right? Stay away." Giving the fans what they want, fools! :rofl:

What about all the people you've been annoying recently?

B4E asked a genuine question. You could've chosen to ignore it, rather than make an insulting remark. Is this the new friendly face of Glasgow Speedway?
