mythman666
Don't know if this has been already been said but I am mightily impressed with the amount of activity on Social media from the Tigers camp. Brilliant stuff and it looks like they are really trying to push the product. It's fantastic to see
Weeyin
really chuffed with all the new sponsors we are getting this season, exciting times ahead, great work by Michael and Gerry Facenna , really hope it gets bums on seats and atmosphere improves. Pogo1
Would think these new sponsors will no doubt be customers of Allied Vehicles which should help balance the books for 2015, I think the seven riders that race for Glasgow this year could be arriving at just the right time , forgetting the so called mega deals they have received from the new owners they could land extra sponsorship with all these new company's coming on board. Brilliant stuff and it looks like they are really trying to push the product. It's fantastic to see  Hopefully the product is ready for 6 weeks today against the dark side. I took a run up today, there has been a lot of work done at Ashfield, a lot still to do and a lot of clearing up to go with it. Will the track be able to be re-laid and settle in time for racing?  Last time we had major track changes in 2011 we ended up delaying the start of the season.
Fingersfin
What's happened with the track itself MD? , all that extra space at the back of turns one and two looks tempting!

The track itself was all ploughed up and there was a mini bucket loader going round on the track with materials.
Pogo1
You should have came into the stadium, I'm sure Michael(one of the new owners) would have explained all the future plans, he doesn't bite lol
Joseq7
You should have came into the stadium, I'm sure Michael(one of the new owners) would have explained all the future plans, he doesn't bite lolAlthough that's true I think for health and safety requirement those working at the site wouldn't want too many punters on site. Â If you do go on site then please make yourself known. Edited February 16, 2015 by Joseq7
highroad119
whenever you see sport on the TV, Interviews are generally held in front of a board with all the sponsors names etc. Would be a great way to get all our sponsors names all over social media if we had one in the pits(for press) and perhaps one at the Tunnel area of the main stand so when the kids are getting there photos taken with riders it looks great and spreads the word for free.
StevePark
Good news on the Kozza Smith front  http://www.glasgowtigers.co/?p=3781
jenga
good to see the sponsors licence being granted , but it does not say kozza will be able to full fill the criteria that the other people require.whilst it may be a tep forward. it will not give any rider employment in the uk without the real criteria.
Lioness
Its good news on the Tigers front rather than good news on Kozza Smith. As jenga has pointed out, its the sponsors licence that has been granted which now allows Glasgow to submit an application for Kozza or any other non EU rider, nothing else. Â I am still very dubious on Kozza's visa. The way I read what has been made public on the new regs, because he didnt attain his 7+ average LAST season (which he missed) then he would need to have finished top four in a state championship. I assume Glasgow must be confident that not racing last season will not be a barrier or they would have advised him to do a state championship in case. dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
There have been posts on various threads hinting at revised criteria having been agreed but as yet no details or confirmation that its true and if so what the changes are. EIS002
I hope he gets a visa but I have reservations, Taylor Poole's been refused for the same issues, OK he did ride last year and Kozza didn't being the only difference. If Kozza doesn't get a visa how many more will fail??? Manzares??
Tsunami
There have been posts on various threads hinting at revised criteria having been agreed but as yet no details or confirmation that its true and if so what the changes are. Â Hard to believe that the UKVI, having got the promotions to tow the line and reinstate what they had already agreed, would back track and ease the qualifications criteria so early. Doesn't sound right for a government body.
Lioness
I dont think Taylors last average was over 7 was it? Kozza's is but it was not acheived last year which was what was originally posted as the criteria. Â Dftftb, it will be interesting to see if a revised criteria comes out. My own experience of dealing with them albeit a few years ago now, was that if there had been even a minor innocent transgression from the rules they tended to become an immoveable rock strictly adhering to the tightest meaning of the rules once it was discovered but that may have changed. Â On Kozza, if I take a step back and look at it as a neutral, I honestly cant see why they would amend the rule for him. I could understand a relaxing of the rule IF a rider had been out injured for a season but in the previous season had been over the required points limit (in this case 7) but unfit to ride in the state championships due to injury but as far as I can see that doesn't apply to Kozza. It worries me that an apparent lack of advice to ride in the state championships and ensure a top 4 finish could cost him this season. My 'Glasgow' head would be happy for me to be proved wrong but my 'neutral' head says 'why?'
