Paulco
When Wolbert first came across, he rode Brough brilliantly with power. I commented at the time he was one of my favourite riders and loved to see him, especially when he declared that his favourite track was Brough. Since then, he has been in terminal decline so that he is only capable of the odd good start/meeting. To my mind he has lost the dedication and no longer tries the way he did when he first came over. I honestly think that if the Monarchs do take him back, he will frustrate them the same as he has frustrated you and the other Glasgow fans. He will flatter to deceive but i think what he had has gone. We've had the odd glimmer , but by and large he has disappointed .
spin king
A proper number 1 is an essential . Simon Stead or Son of God would fit the bill . Keep Kasper and Dimitri and maybe Rusty and Theo unless they are reclaimed by their parent clubs . Definitely not Wolbert though , he's been a disgrace this year and I don't even care if he heads back to Smugville on his low average . The funny thing is that he has done quite a few Guest bookings for Sheffield home and away and he has done really well, and when he came with Glasgow apart from a poor first race he came on strong later. Â I suppose everything points to a return to the Monarchs for next on a lower average, but I would not be surprised to see him at Sheffield next season. Robinh88
when wolbert is on it he is fantastic. Â His average currently is embarrassing, I can only imagine it was cheaper keeping Kev dropping 2 points off his CMA as opposed to bringing in a man who would have been a Number One. Â Glasgow's bottom end was pretty strong Thomson scores on the continent and his scores for Glasgow say it all. Richard Lawson would be a logical signing for the Tigers at Number One though

cyclone
Â Or Sheffield.. Â Sheffield's Thursday race night, would probably be more appealing to Wolbert if he wishes to undertake more weekend meetings on the European mainland. cheggie
How about this for a baseline for a team next year, I am struggling in my head as to who could possibly fill the no.3 and no.5 positions to be honest! Â Lawson 8.22 Dimitri 4.9 Â Theo 7.09 Â Victor 3 Kasper 4.65 Total 27.86 Leaves 14.64 Â Could be Rusty at three, which would leave 8.14 for no.5? Chris Hutcheson
Genuinely don't think Kevin will be back at Armadale next year, wouldn't fit in with many of the projected plans (imo) I had heard a rumour that he will be involved in a team with a Thursday race night? How true it is, I'm not sure. No plans to have Victor back? On the few occasions I have seen him, he actually looked to have some potential. Could be a decent pick depending on his real average. Â However what is Fisher's latest injury? Â Clearly his style will mean injuries, to him, opponents and possibly team mates too! He's a risk. Lioness
But he's a full on bums on seats rider   ... and bums on shale!  I was more worried at the 'bikes over wall' bit - thats twice he's tried that with me, I could take the huff!  I would love Fisher on my team. he is entertaining and exciting. Yes he occassionally oversteps the line and the wee brain cell goes missing but I like to believe its cos he is an out and out entertainer. Mind you, I like watching Ben Barker too so maybe its just me. I'd have Ryan Fisher over some of these soporiphic money grabbing no 1's that have been in evidence in the PL in recent years any day of the week
