george.m
Did they announce new ownership, too? Donald Trump .... To pay all the mega wages you're rumouring.
Catch Me If You Can
Â Agree, would have liked him at Berwick. Yes but if rumours correct you cant afford him
whowasthatberntpersson
Surprised at Morris being back, his progress seems to have stalled over the last 2 seasons. Hopefully he is good enough to maintain his average. Â On new equipment I reckon he will add a point to his average. He found an engine that worked mid way through the season and was virtually unbeaten for Swindon over a 3-4 week period. Until the said engine was sent off.
foamfence
Donald Trump .... To pay all the mega wages you're rumouring. Last year you called me a troll and a hater for saying Glasgow had a rubbish team (they had!), this year they look better already, whoever the last two are. Too early to say that it's a championship challenging side but it's definitely better.

Can see what you are saying about Rusty great round Ashfield but is a bit hit or miss away Summers if he is one off the final 2 is more consistent at away tracks but if Rusty were to return it wouldn't be catastrophic. I don't really get Summers tbh if he is next. He's never shown a liking for Ashfield and I can't remember him putting in a decent performance there. Been at the same level for a few years now. I would have taken Pijper back instead, in a strong team he would be a masterful No 2.

I remember him scoring a faultless maximum at Ashfield whilst still a monarchs reserve so he knows his way round our track if he were to have Ashfield as his home track then he would get dialled in no problem just think he is more consistent away than Rusty or Theo so in my eyes would be the better option.
torpointfanatic22
Add Lawson and Summers to those 5 and the Tigers should be a playoff side. Nice job by the promotion.

I would have taken Pijper back instead, in a strong team he would be a masterful No 2.He did score an Ashfield paid maximum back in his Smug days , he's a decent enough third heat leader in the Premier League . Son of God presumably has to get his Christmas commitments out the way before taking up his birthright finally . Delighted with the team . Kozza and Nick aren't liked in Smugville , so it will make a refreshing change for us to have the pantomime villians in a derby clash . Glad to have Dimitri back , though it will mean limited r/r options . James Serjeant looked to be progressing well when I watched Coventry on the telly last season , so well see how he copes with the higher level of the Premier League . And maybe Victor will be more at home starting level with everyone else and at reserve . He was put in an impossible situation last season . After a couple of poor years , we have high hopes at competing at the right end of the table in 2015 , but I'm sure there will be a few more tasty looking sides put together before the winter is out . And once the replacements for refused work permits is settled too haha
Whiteliner
If you are looking for a rider to average around 4.00 - 5.00 away from home then Summers is your man. His away scores over the last couple of years have been shocking, its only his home form at Redcar that has maintained his average.

That was back in the days we had Michael Coles at reserve in 06 or 07! The only thing I can remember him for is clashing with Richard Sweetman on the first bend and Sweetman taking a header over the fence. MANSE
Summers away average without bonus last year in a Poor team was 6.75 so if he is 1 off the signings riding with Kozza at 3 and 4 that will do for me. But our main objective is win all home meetings and the away ones take care of themselves
CaptainAudi
What happened to signing Cookie then lads? Add him in and you would still have around 7.10 for your last rider and that would be a league winning team 😃
