Shadders
The new owners are taking away the big hill on the back straight were the vans park plus the old dogs board on the the 3rd bend and building a restraunt/hospitality area there instead.I hope they've upped the security too.

Shadders
Question How much damageYou're either trying to be clever, or mad. Judging by your previous posts I'd say the latter.Pointless discussion. Not interested Edited November 27, 2014 by Shads

tyretrax
So far they have knocked down the pits and cleared it level and also flattened the mount on the first bend down to track level and taken away the old work shops think that might be where the new pits will be and the roof on the main stand is being replaced with stand being refurbed , the Hill where the vans park has just been levelled a bit lower think this will stay as it acts as a sound barrier but let's say it will look amazing when completed think the new owners are in process of purchaseing the complete stadium and rent the park back to Ashfield juniors , if you built it right and put right facilities in and price it right with a good team people will come I don' t think they will site the pits on the first bend that would put it closer to the houses across the road. I heard the new bar was going in there with the tote board becoming the the hospitality suite. Electrical fault i believe You probably believe in Father Christmas aswell.

smod
Just looking at all this from afar, have the "new owners" taken over, and paid Gordon Pairman (and perhaps Alan Biggurt) for their shares in the controlling limited company yet? Bandit59
Add Lawson and Summers to those 5 and the Tigers should be a playoff side. Nice job by the promotion. No news on those two yet maybe not coming so far North ?

But this might just be a red herring.

Paulco
I haven't seen it myself yet , but according to what I heard at the ice hockey last night , there's extensive work going on to improve the facilities at Ashfield at the moment . And it sounds as if we're going to have a much improved stadium to watch our speedway in next season . Exciting times ahead
