weejeemy
Ohh, ok?! Are you aware of something happening then..... A director is quoted[in S/Star] as saying he wants Dimitri back next season. If that is the case, it won't be N.L.
Paulco
NL would kill it stone dead , so can't see that happening . Anyway there are rumours of a big takeover , so who would buy it and go NL ?
spin king
NL would kill it stone dead , so can't see that happening . Anyway there are rumours of a big takeover , so who would buy it and go NL ? Â Another takeover. NL would not work North of the Border with very few young Scottish riders and the likelihood of riders been prepared to travel up North is highly unlikely. Â Hopefully the future of the club will become clearer.
MD
Ohh, ok?! Are you aware of something happening then..... Â Im not aware of anything, merely speculating that the losses cant be covered year after year by the owner before they say enough is enough. Paulco
Who would buy it fullstop, more like take it on, though they will need deep pockets. No idea , just going by what I read in the Speedway Star about a fortnight ago
Gazc
NL is a non starter for reasons already stated so it will be PL or nothing IMHO as MD has also said we cannot continue running at a loss year after year hence the continual turnover off owner's . Â The way i see it is that if the Business is not self-sufficient on turnover then you have to look at cost's you can control and reduce these to bring the profit & loss closer together but i would imagine this has already been tried and we are still at a crossroad's. Â Unless there is someone wanting to speculate with deep pockets then i fear this season will be the Last for Glasgow Speedway people cannot be expected to lose money year after year on sentiment there has to be a profit sometimes or it is pointless.
