hans fan
In fact with the vibes for 2015 being rather negative I want to unbolt my seat and take it home as a souvenir of happier EL days.hardly a surprise , panthers management have hammered plenty of nails in there own coffin , couldn't organise a pea up in a brewery

Tried to get "riggers" to the meeting, but is now watching footie, after all that George has done for Peterborough.

Victory is ours (in the senior track debate at least) so the weak wind up continues. Can't you and your Arse just retire gracefully

scotchopper
Edinburgh are now at Peterborough after cooperation from George to allow it. Can you not read. If it wasn't for George I would have been there too. I had to postpone my plans and may not make it now. Posturing at its finest and one of the reasons this sport is in a mess. Crump99
the only thing you will win this season make the most of it Not fussed really. Never wanted to be here in the first place and after winning the EL live on Sky a couple of times it's all a bit second best anyway isn't it? Crump99
youve a good memory can't have cheque book speedway for ever though. We had cheque book speedway in 2006, possibly 2007 with Rick having the cheque book without the personnel from 2008-2013. So that's approx 7 years since 1970. Seems to indicate that we've hardly had chequebook speedway at all percentage wise? But much like your mate Tsumami, you're not big on detail either Edited September 29, 2014 by Crump99

I must be wrong, or my hp must be I'd imagine that he paid big bucks to some but you seemed to suggest that was some sort of bonus? We won as much under Rick with his chequebook as we'll win this season without, so what's the relevance?

Not winning things ...It's a totally different product now ... Ran on a Shoestring when they pay as opposed to Frost just getting the chequebook out to sustain the team and EL status.Being pedantic doesn't deter from the fact of what I said surely??.... Chequebook speedway isn't just about the quality of riders, some rich bloke covering the overheads at a big loss because he can afford it is just the same... You don't seem to like it that the panthers arnt bank rolled now and are having to slum it in the PL. Or am I mistaken?? Crump99
I'll think about that later, must get some shut eye ready for work tomorrow. That's something we do down south to pay the bills morning edit - thought about but can't be Arsed to reply, need to focus on our Sunday fixture v Edinburgh Edited September 30, 2014 by Crump99

You don't seem to like it that the panthers arnt bank rolled now and are having to slum it in the PL. Or am I mistaken?? I don't think slumming it in the PL is the biggest concern for Panthers supporters. Edinburgh are now at Peterborough after cooperation from George to allow it. Can you not read. I wouldn't be surprised if Chairman Harkess didn't intervene to ensure Edinburgh kept the second leg. If it wasn't for George I would have been there too. PE7Panther
I wouldn't be surprised if Chairman Harkess didn't intervene to ensure Edinburgh kept the second leg. . a very astute observation! "Panthers would like to place on record their thanks to Newcastle boss George English for his assistance in making this happen"....... my arse! cyclone
Both Edinburgh & Peterborough Promotions via their websites are acknowledging that Newcastle could have insisted that the the second leg of the KOC be held on Sunday. George English has allowed the Peterborough meeting to take place instead because he recognized that some Monarchs fans had already made travel arrangements for Sunday. Nice to see that the travelling fans have been considered in this instance
