Crump99
the match is still going ahead as scheduled. it's only George English that says otherwise. Would be nice to see a news article though on the Panthers or BSPA website saying that they are aware of the speculation regarding this fixture but it goes ahead as planned. The Newcastle news item says "It was a great show from us and sets us up nicely for the Monarchs whom we visit on October 3rd with the second leg at our place on Sunday - October 5th at 6.30pm." which is either accurate or it should be removed. mudflaps
sums up British Speedway perfectly for me... couldn't arrange a p!ss up in a brewery.... Expect a statement from the promotion on monday should this meeting go ahead this weekend... "we really cannot work out why the turn out was so poor and that so many Edinburgh fans didn't travel down to watch it!"

Hodgy
Wouldn't it be nice if we all worked for the best interest of Speedway and its supporters. I can see all points of view but I would have thought we would prefer a date when Lasse is available. Then again, why set a date for a Final knowing your no 1 will be absent. In addition the lack of confirmed agreed dates really doesn't help those Edinburgh fans trying to plan their weekend. All clubs need to maximise the attendance potential - this sort of conflict will have the adverse effect. Simple forward thinking, working together - wouldn't that be refreshing.
wealdstone
I suspect that for Mr Horton and his sidekicks the end cannot come soon enough.

Tsunami
why would riggers be late ....he'll be at the showground watching panthers v edingboro ....what will you be watching Who the hells riggers when he's about. Probably Spanish football on the tele, curtesy of George helping BSPA and both teams get their fixture on. BTW. Been a bit late in coming to the party, change of fixture dragged you out eh. So will anyone else if they've got any brains, it might be the last opportunity they have? So you will be there now. Thought you said that you preferred to go elsewhere. Crump99
Who the hells riggers when he's about. So you will be there now. Thought you said that you preferred to go elsewhere. Its me, as arthur sleep told you (different names, different places.) I'd rather be elsewhere most weeks but have usually made the effort, which is more than can be said for some, and this Sunday will be no different. In fact with the vibes for 2015 being rather negative I want to unbolt my seat and take it home as a souvenir of happier EL days.
