Saturday or Sunday is good to know that there i going to be speedway, Personally i like saturday as gives me sundays off, But i also like to sit at home and watch the gp?

So i am not sure they can fit all the fixtures in around the GP? we just have to wait and see.

Can't believe you'd risk the future of live speedway at Arlington for speedway on TV.

It's on satellite TV so presumably you have the recording facility, why not record the GP and watch it the next day, it also gives you the option of fast forwarding through the adverts, track grading, analysis and repeats if you wish.

No brainier, Saturday evening easily preferable to dusty, drawn out Sunday afternoons.

that's not what cat is saying. if it's on saturday night she gets a quiet sunday, if it's sunday afternoon she gets to watch the gp's live, either way she'll be at arlington. as far as i'm concerned despite martin being disappointed with fans like me, it's a straight choice of getting home at 2.00 a.m and being able sleep for as long as i want or getting home at 9.00 p.m. and having 3 hrs sleep before getting up for work so it's definitely saturday nights for me.

What do you all think the points limit will be as I've read in many places that false averages have been created due to the lower points limit but then again with that you have to think although someone like greaves has has an unfortunate year this year to start a campaign next year on a 6.96 average he could be quite lucky

Fingers crossed it goes no higher than 40. I suspect it will be 38-40. The limit change was to prevent riders who are "too good" hanging around in the NL year after year & promote the inclusion of new blood. If it reverts to 42 points the whole experiment and best season in the NL for quite a while will have been wasted.

Sorry I cannot agree with a continual reduction in the points level (IF THE SAME NUMBER OF TEAMS)unless the PL can be persuaded to insist on a previous years NL regular at No 7 for all teams. Reduced points level will always drive some of the better improvers out of the league with nowhere to go. You only have to look at the scores for Morley, Branford and Greenwood in the PL to see the gulf. Do you really want to kick out the likes of Ellis, Perry, BWD and no doubt a few more from the NL and probably from the sport.

The NL has been brilliant this year and no doubt will be next year but the problems arise not from keeping the NL limit at 42 but from not removing the barriers to their upwards development.

Nothing wrong with 42 points and it allows new teams in the league to build a good team and see some great racing as we have done this year at Eastbourne.

This will keep the better riders and the other riders will soon procress upwards and the whole of the league will be lifted another step upwards and not get left behind.

Hard to spot? Furry coat, four legs, a tail and wearing a hat - you don't see many like that ----even in Brighton. And look for the table setting: no knife and fork - just a saucer of milk. Miaow is the best the chat gets.

i hope she doesn't recognise you on the night as she might get all niall strudwick on your arse.
