i thought i had read in the s/star that ethan spiller wasn't 15 till next summer so it would take a rule change or special dispensation for him to ride at the start of next season but if i've read his date of birth right (5/10/00) he celebrated his 15th birthday 2 days ago.

Spiller can ride in the League at 15 years of age.

It must really p(ss Kelsey off being dropped and having Spiller take his rides ( last time at perry barr) every time there's a difficult match. Can't be good for the kids confidence, especially when it's your own family dumping on you from a great height.

If you dont put the effort in and you cant be bothered to push yourself you dont deserve what other want.

why should anyone be given a team place, because he is a family memember that what people were saying he only got a team place, but he was dropped, if i have my choice when they had the chance but missed it, i would have put Gary Cottham in and left him in the side, Speedway is tough and and kelsey is not always on the pace, we know he has good bikes and equipment just sometimes it takes time to get to set up in the mind to race speedway.

Look at Jack Smith, not really got it at the moment but he might, Dugard not got it at the moment but might, You have to deal with being dropped in a team if you not performing, Look what its done to kent speedway running riders that are not ready to race in the league, it had destroyed them.

If you say dumping on your from a greart hight, i say more like"a wake up call" reality check"

What a great result at Birmingham, with BWD not being 100% fit but a few more days rest will sort him out, Georgie was on fire well done to him a real true final run for him, Dugard was better then last few performances, Andrews was unlucky, Spiller was in the wrong place wrong time but worked hard for his points, owen was a lot better then before, hopwood started off well then dipped but owen pulled together.

Roll on the weekend

Didnt he get excluded from his first race last time he was at Eastboourne for knocking off Andrews? but if he didnt then it could have been 17 out of 18.

But your right he is top class and he was another level above everyone last night, but back up is what he needs.

Danny Ayres is in for Zac so same as Birmingham, Will come down to Jack P and reserve and Dugard will be the telling, Dugard looked faster in his first ride at Birmingham then tailed off for the rest of the meeting.

But we all know he is good at him home track so a few extra points there for him, Will be a good tight match.

I am kind of glad that the Brummies pulled it back at the end last night. I was really beginning to think, with 3 heats to go, that the second leg at Arlo was going to be a non-event but Birmingham are still in this. They are the only team that have come close to beating us at Arlo this year. Its a real shame they have riders missing. I would rather lose to a full strength team than beat a weakened one.

Great night for Eastbourne again, really enjoyed the after match interviews and celebrations again.

More than anything though last night told me one thing, SATURDAY NIGHT RACING IS THE WAY TO GO!!!

I know the Sunday afternoon time got the vote last year but I just wonder if the traditionalists were the ones that voted, I dont know but what I do know is Speedway under floodlights suits racing at Arlington. Plus, I get my Sunday roast back!

Wont start until after the KO final but I cant wait to start discussing the team for next year. I think we will actually be arguing about who to keep rather than who we shouldnt!!

Saturday or Sunday is good to know that there i going to be speedway, Personally i like saturday as gives me sundays off, But i also like to sit at home and watch the gp?

So i am not sure they can fit all the fixtures in around the GP? we just have to wait and see.
