catinthehat
Birmingham in the Gold Cup and then Cradley in the KOC i hope that way it will be a good end to all 3 teams who have headed the league this year,
Sings4Speedway
Personally I love an underdog and would like to see you up against Kings Lynn (especially after the tonking you got there) might make a very interesting two legs with vastly different tracks. Cradley have been decimated by injuries and I doubt would prove much of a spectacle.
catinthehat
i think tonking is a word that is not strong enough for the performance at kings lynn, but add Spiller in the main body of the team you got more of a chance then before, But lets see who cares its another final and we cant change the results. as long as the team put in 100% in would be good.
Alex2000
It would make KL and Eastbourne interesting 50-30 there and 60-20 at Eastbourne it would be exciting

solrac
Blimey. Just seen the footage of Brad's crash at Rye House on the Eastbourne Eagles fans page on Facebook. Lucky boy to walk away. Look forward to seeing him again this weekend. Tough lads these Speedway boys.

Judging by England's rubbish performance is have thought the possibility of Eastbourne getting a trophy would be more interesting. Plenty of banter later in the meeting.

stevec
Looking forwards to the last few matches and more Silverware. All this bollocks (on other threads) about any other trophy being Micky Mouse and no-one whats them is plain stupid. Would I swap the trophies we are looking at winning for the League title? Yes! Do I care if we win the KO cup, the Gold Cup and the NT YES! Thats why I have spend my money going to every even home and away so far and will the remaining ones. The 'Micky Mouse' trophy we won on Saturday is a good as I have felt at Arlo for a long time. Who will remember winning them? Me! and most of the fans that have followed this club this season will. More so than last season and many of the other in recent years. We will all remember the year that Martin and Conner took over. Signed a Kiwi, and an unknown grass tracker, David Mason, Rick Andrews Danny Warwick and Mark Owen. Chucked in another Dugard and built a team in the National League. Then the usual injuries hit and they REALLY 'leave no stone un-turned' and Bring in Ben, Daniel and Matty Bates. Will anyone else remember? I dont know and I dont care. We will. Oh dear. I have rambled on a bit! Sorry, I just care!
catinthehat
Steve the passion is there great one my man, Shame about all the others when they said we had put a poor side together, Crashes and injury have played a bit part but the new faces at the club have like you said "no stone un turned". Bring it on for the rest of the year, only 5 meetings to go. Have i been told right that Little Spiller is over for the Birmimgham meeting in place of Dugard? or again is it all pie in the Sky, would like to see the spillers ride in the Blue and Yellow colours. Would be great to see both Spillers in I must admit. Hate seeing Kelsey in and out though, he did seem to struggle Saturday. Who would have thought this time last year that the Eagles would go in to October still in the hunt for trophies!!
