Dugard had put up on Twitter that he had a new shed built more like a stable, that must be the extension for Andrews and spiller, must say a nice shed lol and a bit more room too. I think your right Chaos both boys sleep at there mums but spend 90% at Mr Ds as thats where it all happens and where the base for everything to happen according to Facebook and twitter.

After the last three days the Brummies title does not look as certain as I think we all presumed. They have 3 fixtures left which includes the 2 against the Eagles. Putting these two fixtures aside,if they win their other match at Mildenhall they have 46 points. The Eagles would be 18 behind with home matches against Kent & Mildenhall and away to Coventry and Buxton to come giving them the chance of 14 points. The head to heads would then decide the title.

I see no problem with the two home matches but the away two are obvious challenges. Equally the Brummies away match is not certain.

Brummies must remain strong favourites but it is certainly not 'done & dusted' and it would be good for the league to go to a thrilling climax in a year which has seen some of the best racing for years.

Having seen both teams in the last 48 hours I think it is doable. 27 points v. 5 pts for their respective bottom threes at Kent and Buxton tells the story.

Mildenhall's side has a similar shape to Buxton and unless Kirby and Chapman perk up the Brummies may struggle with that one. Coventry will test the Eagles, and Birmingham probably wouldn't have won there had Connor Dwyer not crashed out after winning heat 2 so they will be a tough proposition.

But there is no date for that one yet. Brummies v Eagles on Sept 2 is the next key fixture. When they met in the cup Eagles lost by five BUT:

Wajtknecht won't get seven rides and Spiller will outscore Dugard when they meet again.

So it's all to ride for on Sept 2

And if Cradley can win at Rye,King's Lynn and Coventry before then the finale could be even more complicated

Wow what a great end to the season for all the right reasons, Spiller or danielson they have called him has taken some of the weight of BWD shoulder which will allow him to have an easier meeting with out the pressure to carry the team, BWD has done a great job all year and looks to now be the out and out number one rider in the league, cant wait for Birmingham to come to Eastbourne, and have a feeling that Eastbourne could nick a win away at Birmingham with the way the team rode at Kent.

Its all down to the match at Brum but with Spiller at reserve and RR I think you might just pinch it? Early in the season the likes of Waj, Wood and Perks were clearing up at reserve but now have proper averages but Spiller is better than them all and on a 3 pointer so should swing the balance.

For number of appearances / performances the BWD is right up there but personally I rate Ellis & Brandford higher although they haven't been available as often.

It's good to see that Eastbourne have finally found a level that they can successfully compete in

Can someone tell me how they arrive at the 16 qualifiers for the NL Riders Championship?

If it is top man from each team do they fill up the other 6 places based on averages?

Should be a cracking meeting and averages could let Spiller in by then, he is 7.71 after 2 meetings and I suspect promotion to the top 5 wont make a lot of difference.

Pitstop there is nothing wrong with Heart radio but i have been told that Uckfield FM on a Thursday with Steve Crow is one of the funniest shows i have heard, He is an out and out speedway fan for Eastbourne and just loves to blast it across the radio.

some one at kent told me last night that there is going to be another move on the cards from the Eastsboune camp but not sure which way its going to go.

Who will be first back from injury, Mason, Andrews, Woods to fill up the R/R place.

Andrews will be first surely though Wood looked alright last night running behind pushing bikes ect. He rode Kelsey round the track but his knees must still be dodgy. Replace Kelsey with Ethan Spiller but we want him next season on 3.00 Edited by Alex2000

Eastbourne are being digged on the Kent home page? so i will pass it onto the Eastbourne page.

Now this is funny, not only had Len been beaten at Rye House and Kent he is having a dig at the rules?

The rider who held a German racing licence right up until late last week scored an unprecedented paid 20 points from the seven rides he could take as a reserve:

But Spiller used a German licence when he rode in the Youth rounds in 2013 and also when he did the under 19 at Coventry.

headed only once by a SLYDE Kings’ rider. It was an amazing second only appearance on a National League track for the rider who is based in Vilsheim in Germany and rides also in the German First Division.
A grade C rider who only rides against a grade C riders (A riders are international riders) (B riders are German riders) (C riders are youth riders) 6 riders per team and only c riders race each other.

Having ridden in German national championships since his very earliest junior days in 2007 up to an appearance in the Under 21s there last year and riding under a German licence, the initial decision when the Eastbourne club sought to add the Maidstone-born racer.
(Born in Maidstone and both Parents are English and lived in Kent all the family are British Citizens)

to their squad at this relatively late stage of the CGNL campaign was to say he was not eligible.
(But no reason was given apart from that he had ridden in a German championship but so other riders ridden in there state championships in the past and was not in the rule book.)

An appeal though saw the British Speedway Promoters Association’s (BSPA) Management Committee overturn that decision and so the 17-year-old has been able to make this sensational mark on British third tier racing in his first two matches for the Eagles.

Kent co-promoter Len Silver commented,
“I intend to point out to the Management Committee when I attend their meeting later this week the consequences of their decision. One which I don’t think is consistent with the rules and how they’ve been applied in other cases.
(no rules have been broken, just means that Len missed out)

It was highly debatable if young Daniel was eligible at all considering the licence he held and that he has consistently ridden in the national championships for the country where he held that licence – in this case Germany.
(But he did all the British Youth Rounds) (British Passport) as the rule book states

But if one accepts that he is eligible to appear in the CGNL, we feel that he should’ve been treated the same as the other national champion from another country appearing in the division this year, ironically also an Eastbourne Eagles man, Bradley Wilson-Dean. As NZ Under 21 champion Wilson-Dean was given an assessed average of five points – whereas Spiller has been able to ride at reserve.
(Spiller can come in on a 3 and cover for Dugard but he came in and covered for a 5.8 average rider Mattie Bates) so Eastboune are right with what they have done and can still change.

Having seven rides and scoring 17 points (paid 20) has had a devastating effect on what otherwise showed every likelihood of being a close match.
(All ifs and Buts to be honest not Kent have never beaten Eastbourne or looked close to it so far this year.)

Nothing against young Daniel who was quite superb out there tonight and looks an exceptional talent, a rider who hopefully will play a significant part in the future of British Speedway – but we expect a level playing field when it comes to the application of league rules and we don’t feel that’s what we’ve seen here with this decision”.
(No rules have been broken and you need to look outside the box to make it work)

Len then goes on to say he is a significant part in the future of British Speedway so he is English?

Have a look around you len as your killing Rye House and your doing a good job at Kent slowly Killing it too

I am beginning to feel like I know what it is like to be a Poole fan!

Eastbourne threads are always the most visited and posted.

The management will stop at nothing to bring in the right replacements when required and then the rest of the league spit and moan and come up with reasons why we shouldn't have this rider and that rider in the team.

Hate to say it but it feels quite good actually.

I would just like to fill the main stand the way Poole do, that would be good.

Interesting seeing the mathematics around winning the league. I think its a long shot but it will be good if we could do it. Some silverware must be coming our way for sure.
