TurnTwo
Bradley 10 Kelsey 5.0 Georgie 6.5 Andrews 6.0 Owen 7.5 Powell 3 Cottham 4 42?
steven101
I dont think we will see brad next year i expect him to go PL which means he wouldnt be able to do both unless rules get changed. Cottham is 4.7 atm and wont do enough meetings for another average i doubt. I guess we will see, but few riders will lose a bit in thier average imo. stevec
Well hearing Brad being interviewed at the weekend it sounds like he is thinking of being with us next year. Maybe he will be going Elite League and National. I take it he could be a draft rider for Elite League,
TurnTwo
Bradley cannot do elite draft I believe as I think you have to be British born not British heritage I may be wrong
Alex2000
Earlier in the season i had seen that Swindon had said he could practice there after meetings this season so maybe they will give him a go but if he isn't allowed to be draft I think the step might be to big. Alex2000
Just seen 'eagle of the year' what we thinking people? I was thinking wood as he has done well for 1st ever season on a speedway bike only rode properly first in March. And has done well to up his Average and get into main body
gaptooth
Eagle of the year...... has to be King George. Brad has obviously been the best rider but he was a known quantity. Georgie has only just started on the shale and for me has outshone the rest.
BWDFAN
A rider who more than doubles his starting average in his debut season has to be a strong contender for Eagle of the year. Whoever ends up receiving the award will most certainly deserve it. I just wish I was there to see some of the action like my Brother has been. steven101
If he wants to remain with us then EL is his only possibility, think he would go in on a 5.00 though? Dont know, could be too early for him though.
gee jay
it'll be interesting to see what niall can do with his chance on sunday after his interview in the star. he can't really loose as his recent run outs against adam sheppard , gary cottham and especially tom brennan will have fans expecting little from him in the way of points . not sure how strong the buxton reserves are away from home but if they are on a par with sheppard he could struggle . how many points do fans think will be a good day at the office for mr strudwick ? Sings4Speedway
Is Niall running at reserve or at 2? Not sure how Speight will handle the tighter circuits like Arlington but Holt should do ok so I expect a tough afternoon for Mr Strudwick. If he can gate and hold them up he could get something. I always think its not about how many points but how they were earned for the lower order riders. TurnTwo
Just noticed this thread has the most posts across the whole NL forum Back to topic Strudwick won't score Although his comments in the speedway star slating that he doesn't get any good second half rides he is well and truly having egg on his face as he is first to criticise the bike or the track when he was smashed by cottham, Sheppard, Brennan, he has been racing for nearly 15 years surely you would say enough is enough? Looking at the eagle table birminghamcould get another 15 points from their remaining fixtures. Although; I can see them picking up a point at mildenhall and 3 at Buxton and I think Eastbourne could nick it like cradley did tonight being there 3rd time at Perry Barr. So that leaves them with 4 points on top of their 41 = 45. Cradley currently sitting on 26 can still get 26 from their fixtures although realistically 2 points at Stoke 1 at Kings Lynn 1 at Coventry 3 at home to Kings Lynn 0 at Rye House 3 at Buxton and 3 at home to Rye House would give them 13 leaving them on 39 Eastbourne 36 points left up for grabs. Won't be beaten at home so that's 12 points secured bringing them too - 30 - 3 points at Kings Lynn 1 at rye house, 4 at Kent 3 at Birmingham 3 at Buxton and 1 at Coventry = leaving Eastbourne with 45 as well. It's going to be very tight..
