Woz01
Would have MJJ rode on the Leicester meetings on the Sunday after a gp, I have my doubts. Must be more to it than just missing the BV meeting
SpeedwayTShirts
Expecting a big Bees win tonight, at least 10 points and a noisy Bees crowd 👍 Edited September 29, 2014 by Chris BART Simpson
tsc1
Expecting a big Bees win tonight, at least 10 points and a noisy Bees crowd think you may be right chris lets just hope they get lots of dirt on? so the Swindon riders will be slaging track off, and big mouth rossco playing up to sky as he always does ..........
JonHWeiner
Should they change the rules for next year to allow a team to be re-declared before the playoffs if a rider is injured? stevebrum
Spot on SCB, it is probably the most ridiculous sacking in Elite Lge history IMO... Or you could say MJJ is the most ridiculous SIGNING in EL history. Never shown much interest in the EL. (the post is tongue in cheek for those with a sense of humour by pass). Max Fricke apparently in for Barker on Monday and Robbo in the week after. Not, Summers.
Bees_Man
Think it will be something like 40-50 tonight to the Robins.
Steve0
Think it will be something like 40-50 tonight to the Robins. I hope so but anything can happen. If the real Kenneth Hansen turns up then that might swing things in the Bees favour. Hoping for a good match and may the best team win. C'mon the Robins!!
LagutaRacingFan
Hansen steps up in big meetings. He was outstanding in the Panthers relegation run in back in 2008.
Woz01
If the track is similar to Friday I can see us winning by ten, if it's smoother like the Poole meeting then it will be much tighter. Swindon are certainly favourites over the 2 legs. Edited September 29, 2014 by woz01
BritPete
Best of luck from far away, to the mighty Robins tonight!
krompa
Garrity and Hansen the key. Summers to outscore Gustafsson is a must. And grippy track 'Bomber style' of course. Will Havy be sharp enough to put Sarjent against Greaves and Garrity against Worrall? (two reserve switches needed in heats 4 and 7). Will he use his mind to use Garrity for Howarth in heat 10 if Kyle not fully fit? So many question marks. Pretty excting from tactical point of view. Can't wait!
Bee 26
Needs to be a track with plenty of dirt on for us to have any chance. Everytime the sky cameras are there the track has been slick, do they have a say in track preparation?
Midland Red
If the management had (sort of) said, "He's left us in a mess. We're more worried about integrity of our riders than winning" they may have had a point - a very naff one as it's a sport and it's all about winning To my mind, having followed this wonderful sport for 50 years now, this comment "it's all about winning" explains a lot about the decline of the sport in recent years It never used to be ALL about winning - yes, all wanted to be the best and strived for that, but it went hand-in-hand with providing entertainment for the fans These days everyone seems so much more combative, and few promoters seem engaged in putting on a show for the public Yes, it's great when your rider, your team, wins, but it shouldn't be ALL about winning It's a wonderfully entertaining sport and spectacle, and that ought to be paramount in the minds of those charged with running it in this country
stratton
I think it will be really close, i think the Robins can win tonight but i will be happy with damage limatation maybe a six point defeat. At home i believe it will be a easy home win can only see a Robins win over the two legs. The reserves tonight are crucial i think overall to the tie result.

Star Lady
Pity the weather in Coventry isn't the same as Lynn. This amount of rain would P Bratchelor right off
Grachan
Have a bad feeling about this ..Cov by 12 ... I know what you mean. Can't help wishing we'd never had that big win against Coventry. It's given them an "underdog" status that they seem to be revelling in and also given their side a lot of motivation. I think it will turn out fairly even over the two legs, and have a nasty feeling that Chris Harris is going to go all world class on us and tip it Coventry's way. A lot depends on Bachelor and Kildermand I guess. They can both be a bit hit or miss.
SCB
Pity the weather in Coventry isn't the same as Lynn. This amount of rain would P Bratchelor right off Hopefully our trackman (Colin Pratt?) is out there messing the track up as we type Hopefully then it'll be Dakota North vs the World (or the Bees) I love how both sets of teams are generally playing down their chances. Some might call it, "doing a Shovvy". I wonder if they have the travel agents no speed dial in their phones too
