Bagpuss
Not impossible if Wright can be booked, should be hood for what Lewis would have scored at least, possibly even a few more. If he is unavailable though we are royally screwed. Edited September 30, 2014 by Gordon Bennett

foreverblue
Kerr and Milik being out gives Kings Lynn the edge in my opinion, Kerr was poor last night, Newman was beating him easily,Milik out is a major blow for us and if Kings Lynn get Wright then that would be an improvement on Kerr judging by when Wright rode for Poole earlier in the season. Star Lady
I was surprised Lynn got so close if I'm honest. Had the track been dry I think Poole could have had another 6-7 points lead. Track was OK, Buster and & Co did a great job it but didn't provide that much good racing. Highlight for me was Robert Lambert team riding Simon Lambert for a 5-1. I'm a massive fan of team riding and that was among the best I've seen given the relative experience and abilities of the riders involved. It's never over till it's over and who knows what might happen next Monday. Showers forecast and the track could be a leveller. A bit of luck and we could have a Lynn vs Coventry final. Well I can dream

Pirate Nick
Let's hope they've booked Charles Wright already.Charles Wright it is apparently, good choice, goes well at Poole.

Kerr scored paid 14 earlier in the season at Poole so I don't get that logic. Anyway it's all its buts and maybes until guests are named. E I Addio
Not sure why people are criticising Robert Lambert, or bigging him up. For his first season in the EL he has done ok, beaten some riders you might not expect him to and lost to others you might not expect him to. That's speedway - his age is a complete red herring, he has been riding for years so is experienced on a bike. Another rider might be 23 years old but be in their first or second season of riding a bike so you'd expect them to be worse tham Lambert. A big advantage for younger riders though is that they often have less to worry about outside of speedway i.e. no house to run or partner or child etc. I think Lambert will be a star of the future and if he can avoid serious injury is one we should all be applauding (if you want British riders to do well of course!) Good post. Too early to get over excited about Lambert. Over the years we have seen riders like Lambert who were good at sixteen but by their early twenties others had caught them up and passed them. Others have struggled in the early years then come on in leaps and bounds. There is no telling which riders are going to hit the high spots.its a tough sport and raw talent is not enough. Lambert didn't do himself any favours by mouthing off in Speedway Star earlier in the year, instead of letting his riding do the talking. Good post. We have seen it all before over the years. Some riders are good at 16 but level off in their twenties, others struggle in the early years but come on in leaps and bounds in their twenties. Lambert is far better than Ivam Mauger was at Sixteen but whether he will be as good as Mauger was at 28 is probably unlikely. Lambert did himself no favours by mouthing off in Speedway Star earlier this year and has set himself a standard to,live up to.

proud panther
Hate to say it, but I think the Stars have no chance of winning at Poole. Where are the heat wins going to come from ?
SCB
Only the BSPA could manage this at the critical point of the season. The list says to be confirmed! What has happened, has somebody complained & asked for the list to be updated to suit him? "Benji Compton seems to be struggling" Many a true word spoken in jest. If what I'm hearing is true you can expect to hear some news about the running of the draft soon.
semion
Gater you seem to get very steamed up about all things Robert Lambert, why doth it worry thee so when you you claim to be a Robins fan ?. You dont see Lynn fans getting steamed up about North or Morris. me thinks thou hath a hidden agenda. As for Lynn, they gave it there best shot, and no point in using injuries /loss of form as an excuse, the facts are we came up short. So we move on. BWitcher
Craig Cook is the British No 2, courtesy of his 2nd place finish in the British Final. Craig Cook has raced in the World Cup and as such is an 'international rider'. Wrong on both counts.. again.
