Pirate Nick
Not so sure about that. Would expect Iversen to have scored double figures compared to the guests 6+1. That could have meant taking a 10 point lead into the second leg. A very different situation based on one rider.Would have expected Darcy to score more than 5, so probably not.
Bagpuss
Agreed, stick Iversen Rose Ward and Grazcjonek in there last night and I don't think the result would have been too different.

tellboy
Yawn. Grow up. You provide me with evidence of how good Lambert is and I will agree with you. Not a load of bull saying wow did you see Lambert team ride there because apart from that Heat Lamberts only other points came in a 2 rider race. FACT! He has beat Zagar,Cook,Nicholls,Woodward,Kylmakorpi,Bech,Watt,Bridger,Korneliussen,Pawlicki and King all away from home,as I said not bad for a young 16 year old in his first season in the top flight.Beating these riders is a FACT as you put it.
SteveLyric2
I can't believe all the bickering on here. Well done to both teams in very difficult circumstances and a particular well done to the track staff! There was virtually nothing between the 2 teams as the score and the final EL table shows, and I think it will be similar at Wimborne Road next Monday, where the 10 day forecast gives us some showers on the day and a lot colder!! Eddie Kennett guests for Josh G. Vaclav will almost certainly be missing and no news yet on other guests. Pawlicki resumes as a heat leader and will need to be a lot more competitive than last night!! Newman needs to shake off a slight leg injury from last night and will make a decision on 2 guest bookings later this week! SPEEDY69
Not sure why people are criticising Robert Lambert, or bigging him up. For his first season in the EL he has done ok, beaten some riders you might not expect him to and lost to others you might not expect him to. That's speedway - his age is a complete red herring, he has been riding for years so is experienced on a bike. Another rider might be 23 years old but be in their first or second season of riding a bike so you'd expect them to be worse tham Lambert. A big advantage for younger riders though is that they often have less to worry about outside of speedway i.e. no house to run or partner or child etc. I think Lambert will be a star of the future and if he can avoid serious injury is one we should all be applauding (if you want British riders to do well of course!) orion
Fair play to Buster for getting the track not only into a track you could ride on but also race on. I really can't think of anyone else in the uk who could do that in such a short time . As I said before the Play Off's Started that Kyle Newman would be the key factor and so it showed last night . I think the bickering has been started by one poster on a trolling mission who people should be ignoring. As you say Pawlicki was disappointing last night whereas Rory stepped up.....those two performances kept things closer than I thought they'd be. Agrotron
Ffs why is it that some on here are getting a hard over this Lambert kid. I would also like to make a special mention to Buster Chapman for getting the track in a fit state for racing it is appreciated so thank you.

Good post you are right the likes of Louis,Doncaster,Cook were quite late starters so some of the exsperience levels are different but has Lambert got that much exsperience in a competetive environment.? Gavan
Robert Lambert is undoubtedly a promising talented rider and to be thrown in to the main body ofa EL team is very tough at 16 but he has shown that he can handle that so I think we need to give him a bit of slack and see how he progresses, I think he is further forward than Tai was at 16 spot on foreverblue! its only people like gater1 who troll that cant see
foreverblue
spot on foreverblue! its only people like gater1 who troll that cant see The trouble is some always relate young talented 16 year old with Lewis Bridger who has fallen short. still wouldn't mind him guesting for Darcy next week though. DunRobin
I think you'll have trouble booking a guest. Just checked the BSPA FTD list and it's blank Only the BSPA could manage this at the critical point of the season. The list says to be confirmed! What has happened, has somebody complained & asked for the list to be updated to suit him? "Benji Compton seems to be struggling"
tellboy
Well that just sums up what a disastrous end of the season Lynn have had . Charles Wright is really our only option.Nobody else anywhere near Kerr's ability who is available.
mrss
With Kerr missing next week the improbable has become impossible.
