semion
Gater you seem to get very steamed up about all things Robert Lambert, why doth it worry thee so when you you claim to be a Robins fan ?. You dont see Lynn fans getting steamed up about North or Morris. Me thinks thou hath a hidden agenda. As for Lynn, they gave it there best shot, and no point in using injuries /loss of form as an excuse, the facts are we came up short. So we move on. stevebrum
No chance of that happening lol. Lambert beat Pawlicki and Compton and that's it therefore nothing special in my opinion. Lambert is good but he is also overrated 16, 16, 16 what was Bartosz Zmarzlik doing at the age of 16? Well Zmarzlik wasn't riding in the main team at 16. Why the need to compare the two? Zmarzlik burst on the scene but lets not forget his career went backwards and stalled last year. All people (including me) are saying is that he has a very mature head for someone so young and can pull some awesome rides out the bag. Someone so young is NEVER going to be consistent. Lambert has had a superb first year at EL level. What he MAY achieve in the future is highly speculative but IMHO he is likely to follow Woffy more than Bridger. stratton
I was surprised Lynn got so close if I'm honest. Had the track been dry I think Poole could have had another 6-7 points lead. Track was OK, Buster and & Co did a great job it but didn't provide that much good racing. Highlight for me was Robert Lambert team riding Simon Lambert for a 5-1. I'm a massive fan of team riding and that was among the best I've seen given the relative experience and abilities of the riders involved. It's never over till it's over and who knows what might happen next Monday. Showers forecast and the track could be a leveller. A bit of luck and we could have a Lynn vs Coventry final. Well I can dream That team riding was a delight i see Pawlicki Jnr/Holder team ride in Sweden the other week that was brilliant to i thought it was a dying art. Starman2006
Well that just sums up what a disastrous end of the season Lynn have had . Charles Wright is really our only option.Nobody else anywhere near Kerr's ability who is available. Is he part of the draft..?
BWitcher
1: Cook came 2nd in the 2014 British Final, so is the British No 2. 2: Cook has ridden for Great Britain in the World Cup so is an international rider.

Star Fever
Poole won at PE33 earlier in the year when it didn't rain at all by a larger amount, so you could argue that the rain helped Lynn's cause! I didn't think it was too bad considering the weather conditions. I've seen worse meetings at Lynn when it's been uber-grippy and dry. Track was as good as you'd expect, and there were certainly some lively moments and good scraps after 6 or so races. Some perculiar on-track decisions made by Pawlicki and Compton too from where I was standing. One, too, from Porsing who almost got Miliked. Think he may think twice next time! Credit to Magic Janowski. He's been looking the real deal the last 3 months or so. Whereas nearly every other rider out there was having good and bad rides (often within minutes of each other!) he looked superb throughout. If Poole do go all the way this season, and I feel they might, I think Janowski has been the #1 reason along with the much improved form of Newman. My point was actually that the track last night didn't suit Lynn at all. People will say 'its the same for both teams' but it isn't - for the home team its nothing like what they're used to - they've lost all their home advantage - so its like both teams were away! Yes we did pretty good on it considering but if the track had been like a normal Lynn track there'd have been a lot more passing by both teams, and Lynn may have come out on top. Rory and Ken both had two great gates and won easily but they also missed the gate twice and Rory in particular couldn't make up anything whatsoever. Same for King & Cook - when they gated they were gone but if they missed it they were out of it. True, Pawlicki missed it all night so that probably helped us a bit lol! As for the previous home loss to Poole well they were just far better than us on the night, but I don't think they were last night!
Gavan
As I have said Robert is good rider but he is not as good as some make him out to be. What a load of rubbish you do talk 1. Cook is not Britain's Number 2 2. Cook is not an international rider. As I said Lambert beat Pawlicki who was all over the place and Benji Compton. I can see where you are coming from though Gavan its best that you let all your anger out just because Poole won again. 1. Well he finished there in the British Final so surely he can lay claim to being number 2? Does that mean Tai isnt number 1 because he won it? Are Harris and Nicholls massively ahead of him? 2. So if being in the world cup squad and in 2013 in the team and also riding in a gp does that not make you an international representing your country?? What in your crazy little bubble makes an international rider?? Sorry but you troll for the sake of trolling. No i dont want Poole to win mainly because of Matt Ford but they rode or should i say gated, better than Lynn and deserved their win. whippy
Hindsight is a wonderful thing !!! meeting shouldn't have gone ahead really. If SKY hadn't of been there I think it may have been called off but fair play to Buster and team for working so hard. Gutted that we have been so close and looks like it could be over but hoping that we can give it a good go. Now Lewi is out for rest of season. foreverblue
With Kerr missing next week the improbable has become impossible. Why would Kerr missing be a problem, he couldn't beat Newman on his home track, most people in the draft can beat Compton or whoever is guesting for Compton. So if you finish second in the british final does that not make you on paper Britains number 2? Isnt Jarek Hampel world number 2 this season? Im confused by your logic. I would say Nicholls and Harris are still ahead of Cook but the record books show him as British number 2. And how on earth do you conclude he isnt an international rider???? Rode in the World Cup for HIS COUNTRY Represented HIS COUNTRY in grand prix meetings. Rides abroad in the Polish league. Please give me your criteria as to what makes an international rider if it doesnt include wearing your flag on your chest when racing?????? No i dont want Poole to win because of the dispicable Ford. But if you care to read posts i said Poole would beat Lynn and deserved to, but nothing would please me more than to see them beat in the final. Thing is there are decent Poole fans like foreverblue but you gater1 are a speedway troll

g13webb
They say the sun shines on the righteous. Well we at Lynn must have done some real bad things in the past for all the bad luck we are suffering now. Bad enough the weather taking away whatever home advantage we may have had and turning the first leg into a gate and go competition, but now taking Lewis Kerr out of the equation is the last straw. Usually, fate can be relied upon to level these things up, but I don't see that happening.
