Crazy robin
With Matej obviously lowering his average in both meetings tonight especially the 2nd one the question has to be asked is it enough for him to now guest in the play offs?. I really hope not as the sport doesnt need it.
johnno4
As much as everybody loves him can't see Nathan doing much at Coventry unless he makes a major improvement. Going into the playoffs with a 6 man team doesn't augur well.
Woz01
Its the deadest of dead rubbers!!! Means nothing! Will be heading up there next Monday so if champion2010, mdmc82 and Sienna Ryan are there then lets all meet up and put an end to these multi poster rumours!!! I ask her myself on Facebook to meet me and prove me and others wrong. She then blocked me! Coventry got a decent win at Brandon so will need a win with a similar scoreline to have a chance. Prepare the track exactly how it was in the last meeting against the Robins. Edited September 22, 2014 by woz01

Yeah I dont think that will be happening somehow but obviously Champion2010 was so outraged by me accusing him of being a multi posting female I would like to think he will meet me so I can buy him a beer! Think Killer being back will make a big difference to us. Close defeat will do me.
EnglishRoundabout
Reckon we are in for two very close matches. Ten point defeat at Brandon for the Robins and we repay the favour at Blunsdon. So it will all be decided by a two man run off. Both matches will be raced in a super charged atmosphere. Swindon will fill bends one and two at Coventry as in the EL final back in 2007. Bees fans will also be at Blunsdon in large numbers. All set for a classic. A bit of a shock that we chose to be at home 1st but perhaps they think they can defend a lead at Swindon where double points can help us if we are struggling. I can't see Hans and Bomber doing as poorly as they did the other week though. Edited September 23, 2014 by woz01
SCB
Bees to lose now Hansen's back to form. 1 half decent meeting at BV and suddenly he's "back to form" I think we will need a bigger lead in the 1st leg to have a chance. A bit of a shock that we chose to be at home 1st but perhaps they think they can defend a lead at Swindon where double points can help us if we are struggling. I can't see Hans and Bomber doing as poorly as they did the other week though. Always go home first. As you say, you get more tactical options away then and can play safer, tell riders that it doesn't matter if they're in second as we're playing the sensible game if we're already 12-16 up. If you drop 10 down but the next heat is poor for a TR you don't have to use it then but if you're away in the first leg you have to throw in the TR ASAP. I understand the final you do the other way around to win it at home but tactically, go home first.
le sorcier
Why do SKY insist on both matches simultaneously? Why can't we just have one on the Monday and one on the Tuesday? Or is that impractical?
krompa
Will Barker be back for play offs? If not, will Coventry use R/R again?
Woz01
Will Barker be back for play offs? If not, will Coventry use R/R again? Its hoped he will be back but his movement is still very restricted. I'd be tempted to go R/R at home especially if Hansen continues his form on Friday. houdi
Funny how Matt didn't say, "I'm not picking Coventry the obvious choice because after the winter of 2010/2011 I've not been back there...." Exactly, the idea as Tatum kept alluding too, that Uncle Matt would choose Coventry is laughable. If Kings Lynn had finished top and chosen Swindon, then he would be frantically booking a late summer break for next Monday.
heathen chemistry
One thing is definite poole will be getting more coverage in the playoff than any of the other teams felt like the matt ford show last nite, imagine if it was poole againt belle vue last nite and rob lyon had first pick , the camera wouldnt of been off middlo and ford all nite , and the second lyon picked, the camera would of gone straight to poole for there opinion big opportunity lost because of sky's love in for poole why didnt they get all the managers together in the pits lyon, havelock , horton , at the time ford picked and get there instant reaction , instead we had a half arsed interview with them minutes later and havys didnt get asked till half throught there match
Ott2trot
Can't wait for the Lynn vs Poole encounter on Monday. I envisage a very bad tempered affair just like the good old days with Buster frequenting the referees box on more than one occasion. How I laughed the night he took the ref a Poole race jacket, anyone else remember that? We'll known by now that a certain pair of commentators will be rooting for Poole and inadvertently playing into KLs hands as I think the whole 'pro Poole' thing will spur the stars on to win. Just hope Kenneth is fit and up for it and that the guest is a worthy one. BRING IT ON!
weatherwatcher
It has really taken the shine off the Play offs with the team with the most money to fork out for the top guest riders will go and win the play offs. They should be made to stick by the rules and only chose riders with the correct averages to ride for the missing riders. I know it will then play into the hands of Swindon that have managed to get to the end of the year with a full in form team. But rules are rules non the less, all this falsifing of the rules to make up the strongest team that money can buy is totally wrong.

It's another 6 days before the play offs starts and plenty of meetings for Swindon riders to get by before anyone can say they have a full side for the play offs .

Yes money might buy the best guests, tho that's a metter of opinion, but I fail to see how money will allow a team to have guests not of the correct average. Surely that's against the rules and would be subject to protest. That's something Lynn are not afraid to do I'm not the greatest fan of Poole, I think they are smug and can be arrogant but they deserve the top spot, they earned it.
