mdmc82
steady NOT retiring... from the horses mouth!!! That's great news although would have been understandable if he had. Hope he has a good recovery and look forward to seeing him back when he's ready.
eric i
until they redeclare or until the end of the season if they cannot find a suitable replacement I didn't know you could use a guest that long, I assumed there was a time limit. Tigerite
I didn't know you could use a guest that long, I assumed there was a time limit. That's always been the rule. I would assume that Peterborough will be doing the same with Olly Allen unless someone that can do a job becomes available.

screm
http://www.sheffieldspeedway.co/news.php?extend.1852 all is revealed You would think Sheffield could've named those clubs they believe approached Bellego.
Dcb7
Probably not a real "approach" but more of a "give us a bell Dave if Sheffield decide to keep Garrity"! This being before the ' Ty' situation arose.
AndyK86
Great to have Bellego back next week and Garrity in for rest of season, if continue to pick right guests for Stead then we definitely have a good chance of making playoffs.
jenga
sheffield drop a point or two off their team average every time they use a guest with a lower average.. it may come back to haunt them later in the season. (play offs etc) but its a nice position to be in having a full range of guests at your disposal.............. horses for courses. .............. Charlieboy
Glad to have Bellego back next week lets hope we get no more injuries this season because we need some continuity. Its not ideal being without Steady but that what weve got and weve got to get on with it.Hope andre and ash are fit again now. Cue Ball
Do you think there should be a rule about teams not being able to use guests for a rider who you know isn't going to ride again in a season? Nothing against guests per se, but it is nice to have your own 1-7 week in week out

Blackadder
Not a bad thought, but as things stand, there aren't enough riders of a decent standard available. The UKVI don't help. Ty Proctor would fit in, if the BSPA could arrange for lower limits for non-EU riders. Gone are the days when riders averaging over 9.00 were plentiful. Panthers89
Shame for Ashley, as starting to hit a bit of form. All the best.
AndyK86
Is there any riders available, with Stead and Birks combined average could get two 8+ riders into team but I doubt there is anybody.
