Sheffield 2015

Recommended Posts

To explain. You get the 2.5% reduction for 3 years from when you achieve your first average. Although Jason rode PL in 2011 (for Leciester) he didn't get an average. His first average was achieved in 2012, meaning he gets a reduction in 13,14 and 15.

Stead has had an operation on his arm and leg and is getting transferred back to Sheffield according to the Belle Vue Twitter feed. Hope all went well.

I was just coming on here to say whether Ben Wilson might have been the short term replacement, but see Garrity is the man. If he learns to curb his enthusiasm a little bit he will be good - think in the past he has over cooked it a few times when holding back a bit would have ultimately scored him more points

Good move from the promotion, good replacement.Could strengthen us away. One worry though is how many meetings will he miss doubling up ?

2 if my calculations are right Somerset (1st May) and Plymouth (8th May) There's also Ipswich vs Sheffield and Coventry vs Lakeside on (Monday 4th May) but he'll probably do both them as One's afternoon and One's evening. (That's in the 6 weeks till Bellego's meant to be back anyway)

Garrity,s final MA from 2014 is 6.75 according to the BSPA

Not sure where you have 6.19 from?

its a lot closer than MPTs real average and you seem happy to accept the MC decision on that! wink

Happy with most decisions as long as it's within the rules, would be helpful if all these discounts were properly documented on the appropriate GSA but I appreciate the BSPA and clear and upfront are not words that are generally seen in the same sentence.

Belle vue Twitter is incorrect. Simon has been moved to hospital in Sheffield following his femur operation but has not yet had his arm operated on. Providing he is strong enough it will be done tomorrow.

Hope both operations go well for Simon and he has a speedy recovery. X

i think garrity is a good move give you some food for thought, maybe help you at the tighter technical tracks

could be a very handy signing

Is it true that Jason is the grandson of Freddie Garrity of the 1960's "Freddie and the Dreamers" fame?

  • 3 weeks later...

He's got a visa

How long for?

Unknown

Just intrigued that when the previous poster asked has he got a visa for the season, you didn't just reply 'yes'

Najjer, you know all. How could you possibly know this? Do you think you know better than promoters? Bloody keyboard warriors!!
:rofl::cheers:

It's almost like people knew he only had a limited period to achieve a certain figure before the season started y' know! Damn them!

What was it a promotor told us this winter, I believe it was along the lines of - "You know nothing!"

you need to do the maths on the averages to fit in all these changes. replacing stead with another no 1 will free up points for team building. sheff already have a high team building average.. sissis down to 3 ish .leaving stead out frees up a few points as well.. good lu.
