DAVEK
Surely Hall as a reserve is a no brainer. Two points gained straight away without trying And even more points lost away from home with trying
Ben91
And even more points lost away from home with trying He'd be in the main team in no time though, as SCB says it's 2 points gained straight away. Seems silly to look a gift horse in the mouth. Edited October 11, 2014 by RocketBen1
Japser
Is the priority then to win every thursday and provide some exciting racing. I seem to recollect around the time that Reg Wilson left his team managers role that there were changes made to improve the away performance. The result was, away performance no change, home performance, down the pan. We've never recovered.
OILYRAG
I have heard Lanham would prefer a return to Ipswich for next season and I think Bates would benefit from riding somewhere else , as for Hall and Covatti no thanks. OdsalBoy
Well its that time of season where I come back to life again ! Agree with previous posts, Not so sure about Hall returning, even if it is at reserve. Josh Bates may benefit from a change of track for the coming season. Retain Simon Stead. Not too sure about A Compton as the nasty crash may have knocked his confidence, which is a shame as he was flying before that. Very keen to see who the new blood is ! Think the promotion will want to build a strong lineup, that will batter teams on home shale. just throwing it out there....... Anton Rosen ? Halifordukesfan
Obviously nothing announced otherwise it would have leaked by now.
DAVEK
Obviously nothing announced otherwise it would have leaked by now. Correct - nothing at all announced regarding the line up for next season. I got the feeling that Taylor Poole will not figure in the starting line up for 2015, but would figure at some point in the year once he recovers from his injury. Management rider of the season - Steady Supporters rider of the season - Taylor Supporters of the year - The Tigers on Tour group I also get the feeling that there are plenty of permutations on offer to Sheffield for team building next year. Just need to wait for the conferences to decide the format for 2015. Its a case of watch this space, for the moment anyway...

DAVEK
Very odd. They did say they were gonna announce the first signing of next season. Wonder what changed there? They did mention that they were pursuing the full transfer of Taylor Poole from Peterborough (I think), but it had been put on the back burner due to the injury.. OILYRAG
Just need to wait for the conferences to decide the format for 2015. North and south leagues , no Elite and 6 rider teams however that works ... YHIHF. Edited October 17, 2014 by OILYRAG
spin king
Disappointed me and SKJ, could not attend last night. So looks like we will have to wait until the Conference for how the team will be formed for next season. Hopefully the Premier League Promoters will tell the Elite League Promoters to do one regarding amalgamation, the Elite has got itself in the predicament that they find themselves in, and its their problem that they need to sort out.

Hel'n'Back
Interesting... currently watching Motogp qualifying and the camera's panned to Arthur Sissis in the paddock and the commentators mentioned that he will be riding speedway next year in the UK, they were not sure in which league, but mentioned possibly Sheffield? Eh? Edited October 18, 2014 by Hel'n'Back

Ben91
http://www.amcn.com.au/news/1408/arthur-sissis-dumped-from-moto3/ Old article but seems there is life in the rumours of a return to the shale for Sissis.

One thing is certain if does make a return to Shale there will be a glut of clubs after his signature, he was and still probably will be a very talented speedway rider. If the new Sheffield Promotion have pulled this one off then they have signed potentially a very hot prospect.
