Sheffield 2015

Recommended Posts

Not really a surprise but a great signing and welcome back to Ty, hopefully he can have an injury free run and should make a mockery of that 6.27 average. I think we saw at the end of season party how much he wants to ride for us.

Ben and Andre can consider themselves very unfortunate not to have been included in team building after last season and hope it's not the last we've seen of them riding in Tigers race jackets.

Really pleased with the team that's been put together, it certainly shouldn't be boring at Owlerton on Thursday's in 2015, so roll on March and let us have an injury free season for once and get in those playoffs !!!

The team has a lot of potential.

And it will be a very entertaining team, and for once I can really say that I am excited and cannot wait for the season to start.

The new Promotion have put together a carefully constructed good side together.

So... Manager gets announced next week, what the hell do we do for the 3 months after that?!?!?

Happy with the team, should turn a few heads and if they can all stay fit, Owlerton should be the fortress it once was and we'll pick a few points up on the road too

Yeah, bit different to this time last year, when we didn't know if we would have a team to support.

Making Owlerton a fortress again is the key but I think this team should be capable of pushing some of the teams on the bigger away tracks.

Premier League looks very competitive this season and some very solid teams have already been built so should be a cracking season.

Pray for dry weather on a Thursday for March, April, May, June, July, August, September and October!

Forgot what October speedway is like in Sheffield :o;)

great to see ty announced as the last tiger a snip on a 6.27 average, should add at least a point and a half on that starting figure, forget about xmas, bring on march.

I see in press release Ty says he isn't doubling up and had to choose between Wolves & Sheffield - I am reading too much into choice of words?? To me it implies he isn't allowed to double up - maybe he is on a visa that restricts to only one employer ( as per Doyle last year), that may also be why Demark league is on agenda?

May be totally off the mark, but happy to be corrected

The team to beat IMO.

lots of potential i agree, but Steady is the only one who you know what your going to get with.... Birks, poole and proctor all have had bad injurys and in birks and proctors case they didnt really come back well, sissis could be anything, bates needs to progress, bellego can beat anyone on his day but also get beat off anyone and stead will get double figures just about everywhere.

If the click they could run away with it, but its a canny big if imo.

Well i don't see many teams as good TBH, and if Sissis kicks on like everyone says he will he will fighting it out for an heat leader spot, also lets not forget Bates has only been riding PL 1 year fully and only been riding Speedway 3 years so there shouldn't be any pressure on him.

Glasgow maybe, but a lot depends on their reserves, James Sargent had 6 half decent weeks in the EL at the end of the season so a lot to prove, i believe this will be his 7th season riding in speedway so lets hope it doesn't take another 7 to progress to the next step. and Victor raspberry Pavolova needs to step up but if they do they will be a force.

Somerset have an illegal team so they will have to lose someone more than likely be Ritchie or Holder.

Edinburgh have 2 big gambles at reserve also and also taking a gamble on wolbert as he was poor last year

Workington are taking a gamble with Hanson at number 1 but if that gamble pays off they will be up there.

Scunthorpe will be hard to beat at their track especially when Davis gets dialled in, again though big gamble on the reserves

So every team and riders are potentially a gamble if you analyse every team, so we will have to wait and see

Do you know what it is then?

Yes its:

Lewis Kerr

Lewis Rose

A N Other

A N Other

A N Other

A N Other

and our hot Danish prospect

A N Andre

Team to beat I believe, loads of potential on paper and if A N Other lives up to expectations I believe he will average in excess of 10.50. :t:

:D:D :D
