romans lovechild
probably a better prospect on a 5 point average than Damion koppe was, so lets wait and see what he does do in a tigers jacket, before we write him off.

Like I say a gamble well worth taking, if we did not then there would be plenty others that would have taken our place. On a personal note I am very please that we are the club that has Sissis's signature.

Steve55
That's how things work in speedway these days. I recall a case where a rider on a 7 point average was shelved by his side because they were over the points llimit to be replaced by a rider two points lower to bring the club within the limits. Speedway prefers computers to talent it would seem. That happens every year due to the points limit set at the conference. It's been 42.5 now for several years so what's new! Rider dropped from last years team - shock horror! No situation normal. And yes I did see the 'smiley', but why post rubbish? Cue Ball
Feeling for Andre and Ben in all this, seems harsh on them both if they don't get included in the septet given how well they rose last year. That said, has anybody heard how Andre is doing?

I would suspect that Andre will retire for good this time ,nothing to prove and lucky to escape serious injury who could blame him prehaps management or young rider training maybe his best course of action . The club does have a Team Manager's role to fill.

Steve55
Yes mate hes good at our place, not so good at yours i gather !Didn't do too bad this year, but then a lot of away riders did ok with us having a patched up, injured team. Plus his average would have made it difficult to fit in the riders that most Sheffield fans want in the team for next year. That's the main reason I'd like to think we didn't want him, he's not a bad rider is he!

Its tough down here in Devon to attract top riders and we are improving year on year I think Morton will contribute towards that goal! I think you guys have built a strong team this year with proctor and Poole to come I think you will be right up their we will be delighted to make the play offs !
