Hasnt shown at any meetings in australia so far, wouldnt be able to ride in australian titles either.

Why can't he ride in Australian Title series? The qualification meeting is on Friday, January 2nd at Gillman, he'd certainly be able to contest that, and if he's still good enough, go into the Series the next night.

Could he have one due to his Moto 3 racing, just change the employer, ie Red Bull now Sheffield speedway ????

Doesn't work like that. Change of profession will mean a new work permit. I assume he'll be riding in a state final somewhere and finish top 4. I remember when riders use to ride in the Tasmanian state final as it was so easy anyone could finish top 4 :D

How you ride a bike at 13 doesn’t always translate to how you perform in the PL, but Sissis looked to have “it” when he raced second half’s a couple of years ago. Sheffield, and the PL as a league, looks quite strong based on who has been signed up so far.

Looks a good interesting signing. I also saw him on a regular basis when he ride second halves around the country, and he has a wonderful style based on pure balance. If he has put a bit of weight on, and got more upper body strength, he could end being very good. Will watch his progress with interest.

I remember him doing a few second half`s at armadale on matt wethers bike rode the track very well

Remember him riding Darcy Ward's bike at King's Lynn a few years back. Didn't go too well and ended up in the fence with Nick Morris I think it was at high speed. Both were lucky to escape injury.

Will be interesting to see how he fares.

impressed at this signing

for a rider to turn back to speedway after racing at any high level of motorcycle sport surely hes doing it for the love of the sport rather than the money

if hes as good a prospect as he looked as a kid im sure he will be a very good prem league rider

Did Tungate not do a similar change from road racing, and Stoner had once ridden speedway. Any OZ historians out there.

I guess it would depend on who else nominated, let's not forget he hasn't even ridden so far, and even a qualifier would have a certain selection criteria.

How good "Tsunami"? In your opinion i can remember seeing him beat Ward in junior racing and he looked exciting. Its great that he wants to ride speedway again i believe the Tigers have a real coup hope he does well for the Tigers.

cannot believe there are some negative posts regarding arthurs signing, hats off to the promotion in taking the bold move of signing him, he wants to race speedway again is only 19 years old and has a pedigree as long as your arm for winning honours on a motorcycle, with his c.v. a 5 point average should be well within his reach, he hasn't even put on a tigers race jacket yet, come on, get behind him and the promotion as it looks like they are doing their bit to get folks back onto the terraces at owlerton with an exciting team......rant over.

I don't think that the negative comments are coming from Sheffield fans.

For me it is cautious optimism with the lad, and potentially it is a very very good signing for the club.

Only one left that he can do , the SA title.

I'm really looking forward to seeing Arthur ride for us and it's a congratulations to the promotion for putting together what looks like a good, exciting side. The key for me is that Steady and Ash are Sheffield lads, Josh is from Barnsley, Arthur is going to be based in Barnsley and if Proctor signs as well, that will be five South Yorkshire based riders. Hopefully good for team spirit.
