EIS002
Stead 9.96 Poole 6.05 if Fit Bellego 6.06 Birks 5.68 Proctor 6.27 Lanham 4.90 Bates 3.53 May reduce to 3.44 with the Brit young Rider reduction???? 42.43 If Josh gets a reduction I would prefer Wolbert over Bellego 42.47, or Wolbert 6.19 in for Taylor if he's not fit. Just hope the conference this weekend does'nt mess about with the Premier league format too much.

Bit unsure on Nico, there's obviously something about him but we only saw him in glimpses. A spell at reserve should do him a world of good though and i think we'd get a lot out of him on such a low average of 4.19.

Totally agree, would be crazy to overlook Nico Covatti especially on this average, quite capable of putting a couple more points on that, have seen him perform well in the EL so i say go for him most definitely. Shadders
Hopefully the BSPA conference will encourage the use of British riders at reserve.
spin king junior
Hopefully the BSPA conference will encourage the use of British riders at reserve. Wouldn't be surprised at all if they did make it mandatory to have Brits at reserve if I'm honest. And even though Covatti would be a trump card at reserve, i wouldn't be apposed to the idea of it at all. Something needs to change either way. Shadders
They tried that in 2006, but abandoned the idea mid way through the season as a couple of teams had really good reserves (Boxall at Rye, Armstrong at Mildenhall)
Halifordukesfan
You can start the season with Brits at reserve but it doesn't mean they have to stay there, it could soon be manipulated, as can and are, many other rules. romans lovechild
well that's over for another year.....scintillating news isn't it, we have the yellow and black helmet colour back, simply cannot wait for the season to start now. seriously though its now time to build us either a trophy challenging side or a fortress owlerton side, personally I wouldn't mind the latter which in turn should put a few on the gate if we are winning, track specialists in bellego and Jorgensen reported to be on the move would be a good proposition for us.
tigerowl
I like the yellow and black helmet colour and I am buying a season ticket on the strength of that news.

Cue Ball
Guest v national league replacement, personally would prefer to see a rider that is on the pace than an NL guest (no disrespect intended)

The Third Man
Guest v national league replacement, personally would prefer to see a rider that is on the pace than an NL guest (no disrespect intended) why not go all the way and have guests for any rider in the 1-7 who is missing for any reason, sorry but rather a NL rider gaining experience than yet another track specialist guest who will be hand picked by the home or away team i have never agreed with guests for any reserve because if a rider is out for any length of time some teams just use in form guests for as long as possible Edited November 18, 2014 by The Third Man
spin king
The Guest Rider issue is a hot topic. To be fair the sport especially at Premier League level is probably here to stay, but I think it should be used as an exceptional rather than the rule. If one from the top 5 is out then Rider Replacement, anymore than one rider then you have to use a Guest, but only for the lower averaged riders. You have to have some form as Guest rider for the reserves, but I agree lets give young lads from the National League some experience for both reserve berths.
