DIAMONDS
Firstly may i give my best wishes and a speedy recovery to Simon Stead, a nice guy, and good rider who is pretty much irreplacable in the Sheffield Team. I have just had a quick look through the averages, and the only rider that i can see who may come close is Rory Schlein, i dont know what passport he is on, but is he allowed to double up/down ?. What average would Schlein come in on?
Robinh88
Hopefully Sheffield can replace Stead well, it's probably not possible I cant bare another Edinburgh domination
spencebel
Just heard about Simon, terrible news.. Wishing you a speedy recovery Simon. Take Care.
spin king
The promotion face an impossible task replacing Stead. He is virtually unbeatable around Owlerton. And he is our own asset, so we had the first choice over his services. After such a good start to the season the last thing the Promotion and club needed was to lose him to such a bad injury. The word impossible springs to mind. Get Well Soon Steady. Edited April 19, 2015 by spin king
BBSC
Was looking forward to seeing Simon riding at Berwick next week when news came through about his unfortunate accident. Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery.
Cue Ball
Gutted for Simon - he has been in arguably the best form of his career so far this season. I'm guessing that we are going to need a replacement as I would doubt that he will be back this season given the extent of his injuries - who is there available? I'm struggling to think of anybody

Long term there's nobody who will score as heavily as Simon *edit* Edinburgh at Workington on Saturday, so that's a no go Edited April 19, 2015 by Shads

Robinh88
Lasse Bjerre or Richard Lawson I reckon
BBSC
Depends if Lawson riding for Lakeside at Leicester. Danny King ?
spin king
Looking at the fixtures; Thursday at Sheffield could be Craig Cook or Richie Lawson who is a popular Guest rider for Sheffield. Saturday at Berwick, maybe Nick Morris or Richie Lawson again.
KevL
Rory schlein if we are still allowed to use elite riders upto steadys average could be a good shout
Hel'n'Back
Very limited on riders as Lasse Bjerre and Danny King both ride for their own teams on a Thursday

montie
Wonder if Steady will call it a day now, interests outside or speeday, inteligent lad etc...wonder if he thinks enough is enough..shame if he does
spin king
I was thinking more of potential permanent signings Not too sure whether or not the average would fit but maybe Mads Korneliussen. But would he want to ride Premier League?
