RS50
Garrity's average is too high for him to replace Poole.Would have thought the management would have been considering their options as soon as they knew the possibility of being refused permission for Poole. Slightly off current topic, but anyone know why Sheffield have not entered MDL this year Edited February 21, 2015 by RS50
Blackadder
Facundo Albin has signed for Slask, a non-league team in Poland, and is expected to be loaned out to a Polish 2nd division team. Jonathan Iturre has also signed for a Polish 2nd division team, as has Nico Covatti, who has also signed for an Italian team. It will be interesting to see how Facundo and Jonathan get on, as long as they aren't using Alfie Flowers' engines.
Steve55
Bates says on the official site that there is no news at present regarding the replacement for Poole, but that they are considering riders for the team place and that they are taking their time as they want to get the right man. No mention of Proctor so could be that his visa is sorted, hopefully!!!!

dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Cant see how a private practice can be wrong. Presumably currently on a holiday visa as if the full work visa is in place there is no problem anyway. Look at it this way - if a pro surfer comes to the UK on a holiday visa would he be prohibited from catching a few waves down at Newquay just because thats what he does for a living back home? Surely it would just be classed as recreational which is what a holiday is all about.

This is exactly what started the investigation into visa abuse, especially visiting OZ riders, going back to Max Frickes first after meeting rides at Edinburgh. brewer
exactly, after meeting, which has been said before paying public are still in attendance. he was at a PRIVATE practice session, ie NOT working, NOT earning, no different to the surfer mentioned above or even an aussie on holiday and doing a ride n slide day. If an Aussie does a ride and slide day I don't think he'll be taking back what he's learnt for his day job. But a speedway rider riding a speedway track in practice could be training for his work and learning new skills. When Wayne Rooney turns up at the Man united training ground, is he in work? Or is he relaxing in his spare time?
