Halifaxtiger
There's a brilliant video of Tommy Allen and Tai Woffinden on YouTube somewhere too. Jason Doyle became the master of team riding at Somerset and more lately we've had Brady Kurtz who is brilliant at it too. Ben Barker is probably one of the best in recent years in the PL too. Seen Barker do some stunning team rides at SBA, to the extent of pointing to where he wanted his partner to ride. Sadly, he seemed to forget all about that last season. The best I ever saw was at Scunthorpe a few years ago, and it was Richie Dennis (aged 17) protecting Grant Hayes (aged 16). The speed that Dennis went into the corners had to be seen to be believed, to the extent that it drew an angry reaction from an opposition rider at the end of the race. CardinalSin
The Americans were the best at team riding back in the 80's IMO. I can remember Sigalos virtually stopping on a corner waiting for his team mate at Foxhall
Najjer
Todd Kurtz was pretty good too. Always looking for his team mate. A few of us actually commented at times that he spent more time looking behind him, than looking forward! Seen Barker do some stunning team rides at SBA, to the extent of pointing to where he wanted his partner to ride. Sadly, he seemed to forget all about that last season. . There's a picture of Doyley doing that somewhere before. I remember him once being interviewed after team riding Stephan Katt round for a 5-1 saying just how difficult it was to go that slow! Charlieboy
The Morans were the best weve had at Sheffield for team riding, pure quality.I would like to see our new team trying a bit of team riding next season.
Falcon Hammer
Best team riding I saw last year: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc0pT5cd9y8 Fast forward 2:36.00 Mega T2 by Darcy - spent half race looking back & quarter race with one hand on his bike
SCB
Best team riding I saw last year: http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=Mc0pT5cd9y8 Fast forward 2:36.00 Mega T2 by Darcy - spent half race looking back & quarter race with one hand on his bike That wasn't even Darcys best team riding last year. Riding inside/outside is the most basic of team riding. Dropping the bike on an opponent to get a team mate around or moving a rider wide to get a team mate up the inside is far better and more impressive- and as much as I dislike the obnoxious little oik he's good at doing just that and hen covering a team mate. Mr Blobby
Arthur Sissis has sailed through qualifiers to compete in this evening's (In Adelaide) South Australian Championship. Main meeting about to get going now. I would like to think so if he didn't qualify against the caliber of riders he was up against there would of been something not right

Wouldn't say I am a knocker of his but his lack of experience on a 500cc is a concern.
Cue Ball
He didn't fall off and scored in every race, not too bad for his first competitive meeting for a few years - the only way is up!!
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
He only beat 3 finishers in 5 races but Id expect there to be a lot more improvement to come. May not be the overnight sensation some have predicted though. Just as well he doesnt need a visa as on this showing he wouldnt qualify. Cue Ball
Only 2 races where not everybody finished wasn't there? He also finished one race with a flat tire. You've got to be in it to win it, and he finished every race, that has got to be the plus point. Agree he isn't going to be a world beater by March, but don't think it is all doom and gloom just yet - would be interesting to know if he was way off the pace or just losing out at the start Edited December 28, 2014 by Cue Ball

Having just got back into the sport after a break, his equipment and set ups at this stage made not be up to scratch and his racing fitness may not be quite there yet. At this particular moment just pleased to see him get some competitive track time.

Races against the better riders he was atleast a quarter of a lap behind or greater. Hadnt seen Kerian Spoule before but he looked good and Brodie Waters has come on in leaps and bounds. mac101
And good to see Joey Ringwood in the points thought he would have been back in the uk this season looked a decent 3 pointer
dontforgetthefueltapsbruv
Dont get me wrong my post wasnt meant to be over critical. Sissis is a highly talented motorcyclist but has limited speedway experience. With the right support team and equipment he will get better and better quite quickly IMO but he needs time and patience. Some have hailed him as an instant heat leader and whilst thats not impossible Id say its not likely. Only at the end of the season will we see what he is really all about. Fromafar
Do you have any idea what youre talking about? Some people seem to forget there is a points limit when you are Team building.Imo Sissis on a 5pt is worth the gamble.
